Nuklear Age Status Report

Wheee! We finally got a status report on Nuklear Age!

Anyway, I'm presuming the dimensions Brian listed and the price are that of a hardcover. Brian, is there going to be a paperback edition, also? Ever? Paperback can fit in the pocket(both of itself, and money-wise) easier.

Watashi wa ookii baka desu yo.

Anyway, feel free to use this thread as a discussion of the book. Or close it.

If I recall correctly, both the paperback and hardcover editions will be about that size.

What publisher did you use, and how hard was it getting your foot through the door?

AceBandage 07-08-2004 09:51 PM

This will probably be the first book I've bought in a while. I usualy get most of mine as gifts.

Well, 6"x9" is pretty friggin big. I'll have to buy the hardcover so it doesn't like... collapse in on itself and make a black hole.

Then where would I be? Not in a good spot I reckon.

Pick up the paperback version of House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski next time you're in a bookstore -- it's 7"x9" and in the neighborhood of 700 pages. Not that big.

Corneria Guard#4 07-09-2004 01:53 AM

Well its still not pocket sized, the most common reason people get paperback.

Question about the book: Is it easy to keep up with if you have, say, ADD? Cuz that ruined Fight Club for me, and I don't want that happening with this one.

So it's really big and bright yellow. Brian, have you ever experienced some kind of trauma resulting from misplacing one of your books, never to be found again? Just curious. :D

Kinda reminds me of the autobiography of a German punk band, which was deliberately made so big as to render it impossible to put in any kind of bookshelf whatsoever. The autobiography, that is.
