According to my count, we are only waiting for {][)K}FiReaRM. Anyone know if he's still playing? I'm anxious to start this, it looks to be fun.

Zweihander 07-17-2004 07:36 PM

Go back to his last post, and check his custom title.

I don't think he'll be back.

Lycanthrope 07-17-2004 07:44 PM

Well... given the fact that his last post was this thursday, I wasn't sure. Ya know how people will give themselves that title now. Its the new "in" thing, as it were (I'm such an old man). Whatever.

Edit: Just found what got him banned. In that case, what are we waiting for?

Sithdarth 07-17-2004 07:51 PM

Go here. It's most definetly a good thing that his user title says that from what I here.

Foamy 07-17-2004 08:50 PM

we are waiting for me because of the whole "there can only be one Demon" thing. i gotta get my character fixed.

ok she's fixed i just need to decide on what powers she has. I'm mostly leaning towards super speed, telekinesis, and controlling fire. just for starters.

Name: Fae XIII (13)
Age: 18
Nation Company: BioChem
Class: NexGen Experiment
Class Explanation: She is the Thirteenth experiment conducted by her mother, a DNA Engineer for BioChem.

Appearance: Her hair is a white-silver color and her eyes are a bright soul peircing red (a side-effect from the DNA splicing). She stands a good 5'6" and has a borderline pale slender body. She wears her hair in a ponytail, a white t-shirt, a black mini-skirt, and black shoes.

BIO: Fae is the result of a bold experiment conducted by the brilliant biochem engineer Dr. Julie Savedras, a woman possessed of a startling intellect and drive. Dr. Savedras spearheaded an initiative to scratch build the perfect human, using BioChem's extensive data on the intricacies of the human genome, she was able to isolate the most favorable genetic structures and combine them into artifical embryos, which she seeded into donor eggs bereft of chromosones, much like modern day cloning processes. The experiment was highly monitored by top BioChem execs, including the infamous CEO, Mr. Waters. 20 embryos were seeded in this manner, donated by Dr Julie herself, the sentimental value to her was significant, as she was left barren after a previous pregnancy, one which ended with a stillborn child. After this tragic event, and the loss of her husband to a traffic accident, she declined the surgery necessary repair her damaged reproductive surgery and threw herself into her work. An awful lot of money and resources were tied into her program, and Mr. Waters expected results. After months of experimentation and growing of the embryos, it was apparent that the experiment would be a failure. Infuriated, Mr. Waters had Dr. Savedras imprisoned for trumped up charges of fraud and embezzlement. Heartbroken by her failure, and without her reason for existence, she soon died from self imposed malnutrition. Yet, by a strange twist of fate, embryo 13 was found to still be viable after further examination after the fact, and a week after Julies death, her daughter was born. The most incredible outcome of this was the fact that number 13, named Fae due to her seemingly incredible luck at being alive (Fae, I believe refers to luck, or fairy folk or some such thing, either way I think it works), was not only the expression of human physical perfection, but a nexgen as well. None of the engineers left attached to the program could understand how this occured, and none have yet deciphered how to isolate any sort of nexgen gene, and the only person who might have had the answer was already dead. The evil of Mr. Waters had been his undoing, as this was the closest he had ever came to understanding the process by which nexgens are created. He was extremely angry at this fact, and ordered the child terminated. One of the researchers, by the name of Billy Kidwell, could not stand by as the helpless child was slaughtered for the pride and hubris of a mad man, so he snuck her away in a daring escape which ended with Fae being left in the care of fate yet again, and Billy is dead. Fae has been on her own for her whole life, but her nexgen powers have kept her alive. She seems to have an inate ability to understand herself, and her powers. Without formal training she has managed to realize many of her more mundane powers, and even a few complex ones. She is a child of fate, who does not know what her destiny holds.

to clear a few things up, the Mr. Waters I refer to is now dead in game time, he is the father of the current CEO, and Fae lived in a research facility for 5 years before being ordered to death. BioChem has since stopped looking for her, or caring about her fate, but if she were to be stumbled on again, the current CEO would most likely experiment extensively on her, not a good life by any means.

ok Zoa wrote the whole bio part. thank you again Zoa so ver much. :D

Just edited my equipment I think I got all I need now. So im ready to go whenever Zoamelgustar is ready.

Lycanthrope 07-18-2004 02:08 AM

In keeping with Zoamelgustar's request that all PM'd information also be relayed via thread, I've PM'd him a list of some non-lethal bullets. I'll post those of them he ok's once he gets back to me.

RangerAidan 07-18-2004 01:02 PM

The last power, it's not that bad...
Suiting him perfectly for the Ranger-like nature of his station, Kyrin's metabolism is perfectly under his control, enabling him to function at peak performance so long as there is fuel for cellular processes, which he can provide via time spent concentrating on molecular recombination with base compounds in his surroundings.

Ah, yes, my equipment.

Combat Clothing: Assault suit with appropriate camo colors for the assigned environment The overall look is similar to that of Solid Snake's sneaking suit, if you know what I'm talking about. The differences include not quite as skin-tight pants, hanging a litle looser, like modern BDU's; a belt and bandoleer (of appropriate color); and modified combat boots with softer, adaptive soles for multiple types of terrain.

Armoring: on the chest, back, forearms, thighs, and calves, he wears armor made from a next generation nanotubule acrylic polymer with nanomachine-mediated force dispersal. The compound itself is made of nanotubules that draw tightly together when exposed to a slight electric current, creating exceptional damage stopping capability with minimal movement reduction. The armor only activates when onboard sensors detect a threat and instantaneously charge the necessary armor section.

Weapons: A pair of laser sharpened titanium carbide fighting knives (think Marine standard issue K-Bar); .50 Caliber Rifle with Magnetic Round Acceleration (Railgun) and optional High-resolution Digital Scope, fires normal depleted uranium slugs; light (SMG sized) Laser rifle

I edited in one more piece of equipment and posted a link to show that we are actually close to being able to create such a device. Then I found this little gadget and I thought some of you might find it interesting. Now imagine how much more energy could be produced with a couple of decades of focused research.

RangerAidan 07-18-2004 03:39 PM

Which one would that be?
