Best RP character you made...

What is your best RP chacter you made? Was intentional? Accidental?

The best character I made is probably the one I am using in the metahuman RP. I gave him the power to see and control all forms of light. Later on I realized that I had given him far more power than I had thought. At first I was afraid I whould be called a modder but everyone seems to be cool with him.

The second best char is a GURPS warrior that is pretty much Fighter. He has insane strength, little inteligence, and armor that requires 2d to damage him, and even then the max damage is 1. That is of course if you get through his PD of 22. Then my GM made these boots that allow me to take three HT a damage per turn and for each HT I get +3 to speed for three turns. (The boots weren't ment for me but I managed to procure them with some artful negotation, I have leadership and a military rank so people usually do what I say.) Seeing has my HT is 16 and I have hard to kill level two this is great for me. Know I have a near invincable warrior that can out run, by a lot, just about every one in the game except the main bad guy.

Wow, its returned...seriously, we need to sticky this thing because its like #3238452857 on this forum alone.

But as always, I say Grim And Reaper, because they will pwn anything.

Probably mine was a Tzmitce for Vampire: The masquerade
Min-Maxing at it's finest :D ... I needed a good combat char, so I sunk as many freebie points as I could into one dicipline (viccicitude; flesh/bone crafting if you will), and from the start of the game, I already had the ability to turn into a giant, spiky 8-foot-tall war machine that give +3 to all physical stats (but if you're not familiar with the WW system, it almost doubled my existing stats).
Also, botching when I was using other dicipline skills has had some interesting results.
-I've gotten a hand stuck in someone's chest while attempting to drive their ribcage into their heart. (I then went war-machine on him and just gave him a nice big hole in his chest whilst removing my hand)
-I've tried to shut up an annoying PC and ended making his face implode.
-While I was hiding, waiting to ambush...Instead of fashioning a rat into a sharp projectile as I had attempted, I accidentally ended up enlarging it's jaw and sharpening its teeth. Long story short, it wasn't happy and took a chunk out of my leg. That made me scream and gave away my position.

My best character would have to be my God-Mage, a quarter grey elf, quarter deity, and half dragon. The character was a magic-user obviously, and had spellfire and psionic abilities. It took me forever to get everything ready for this character, I had to go through three other characters to get to that point, but it was well worth it in the end. That is Min-Maxing at its best, the character didn't have a single ability score under 16, and the highest score was in Chr which was a 29. Maximum spell level was 13. When the DM saw the way I manipulated his system his eye started twitching as he stared in awe at the character sheet. Such a very fond memory.

Okay, it's a tie.

One is Movado, my Vampiric Palatin from the Undead Onslaught RP. He's supposedly a Holy knight, but because he's a vampire, everything he loves is denied to him. In conversations, he's hilarious due to his dry wit.

The other is Hypothetical Jericho, my Character from the horribly named Role Playing Story. But he exists mostly in the discussion thread. He is the same as the regular Jericho, but he says all the things that would make the regular Jericho fall out of character. Hilarity ensues. I think DB and Jaguar will agree with me on this one.

Quote:

Jericho stepped out onto a balcony of the citidel, viewing the Avariel city as the daylight waned into darkness. The celebrations still continued and would probably go on for days; this is a city that had not experienced true freedom in centuries. Much had to be caught up on. Crowds of Avariels swept through the city on both the land and the air, their jubilation causing them to forget the attrocities that had been committed by the Drow for the time being.

But Jericho's attention was not focused upon the rejoicing Avariels, but on the Winds of Change that swept through the land. Odd feelings and readings came to him from lands far away. Fear, Love, Hate, and Sadness; but one feeling rang loud above the others. Sex.

In through the winds of the east, the voices of hundreds of thousands screaming in unison rang over the drone of the celebrating Avariels. Jericho joined in, screaming,

"I WANT PUSSY!"

hmm....I've had several good chars in Vampire: The Masquerade, but I gave the game up with all these new people joining and being uber n00bish to the rules.....eh I just get sick of it.....I don't care to list any of my chars in case I end up recognized and people start hassling me again.....

Some of my best chars are in DnD....I've had chars that reached god hood by destroying all traces of an older god and assuming his/her position.....all the good stuff....but that grows tiresome and repetitive so I retired from playing DnD and assumed the role of DM....and just to clear things up my players DO tend to be stupid and I AM a little on the evil side....but it makes things more interesting....I've yet to experiment with third edition yet so I wouldn't know the joys of it, but I AM looking to try it soon I just have no one to play with.....

However, my best char I made was on a RP board that for some reason got deleted off the face off the internet. He was a Spirit Demon (One of the original creatures of the world, could switch in and out of spirit and corporeal form at will) He was one of 9 spirit demons and one of two still alive. He was something like the grim reaper of the board and was used to kill players that weren't behaving, but he always did so in a fair way. Some may say "Oh that's god modding" well you don't know everything, he wasn't all powerful and did have several weaknesses. He was very interesting to play because I wrote out an entire history for him (He was somewhere in the area of....hm...well he was alive sine the creation of the world.....so VERY old)

Hmm... for some reason, I think my favorite character I ever created was back in this one old RP called "Trial of the Gods" (or something like that) My character was a blind villain with a Celesta as a weapon, she was pretty fun to RP because it was really unique having to focus on making the character rely on other senses than sight. She was cool.

Either that or Celes, the mage from my second RP I was in.

While I haven't had any significantly powerful or cool characters yet (it's a work in process, I'm getting better at it), I would say my best is Sgt. Mike Owens from FZ's Call of Cthulu RP. Why? He got decapitated.

It is his last step, as the monster reaches and slams one clawed hand into him. He expereinces a moment of intense pain and shock, then another clawed hand swings around, ripping his head from his body in one swift movement, and hurling the head into Jim ((Who failed his sanity check)). Jim looks at it stupidly for a second, then recoils in horror yelling.

It wasn't exactly funny to me at first (it was still my first month RPing, I wasn't used to anything insane like that), but now that I look back at it, it's actually kind of funny considering I was sleeping while his head got ripped off.

Raiden 07-14-2004 04:36 PM

Samoht. Anyone who was in that RP would know why.

He owns all.

A Dark Elf black mage of electricity, who had a sword. If he couldn't cut you up, he'd fry your ass.

It was ever so much fun.
