NPF Round-Robin

Okay, for people who don't know what a Round-Robin is, it's pretty muh an open-to-anyone story where one person starts a part of a story(word, sentence, paragraph, chapter), and it goes around and people keep adding on to it. I thought it might be fun to try one of these, so let's start with a simple part: a sentence. Everyone contributes a sentence to the story. Keep it in the continuity of what we have so far, but feel free to be a little goofy. Just don't be pulling forumers(yourself included) into this. And as the name implies, wait for a full cycle of people before making another post.

So, let me start us off.

The full moon hung high in the night sky, casting its bright light down on the forest below.

The sparse foliage was hardly adequate to the task of concealing Richard from the searching lights of the determined officers he so desperately wished to escape from.

Meanwhile, in outer space, a ship as black as coal crawled through a hole in subspace.

AJ, one sentence. Your post ended after "subspace."
[Edit]Let other people describe the spaceship and make up the story. That's the whole purpose of the round-robin.[/Edit]

Richard clung tightly to his prize, a bag full of AJ the Third's misplaced sentences.

[Feel free to skip this one, as I know O-san's post was not supposed to be included]

I'll consider this to be the whole sentence.

Richard soon realized that they would be here to take it away from him once more.

Otaku Son 07-17-2004 11:31 PM

Is this everyone? Okay, then...

"My preciousssss," Richard whispered as he stroked his prize in the palm of his hand.

Suddenly, ninja space pirates in samurai shaped space ships which fired out fuedal lords attacked Richard.

(If that is not acceptable, then use this boring sentance)

Just then, two midgets wearing capes jumped out and took Richard's precious.

Otaku Son 07-17-2004 11:43 PM

I'll let the next poster decide which is acceptable. Even though the whole point of a round-robin is to be spontaneous and work with what's given.(Which means some time we'll have to find a way to get AJ's spaceship involved, but meh.)

The fuedal lords shot towards Richard screaming "Ach! Mein Lieben!"
