Free Energy: Is it in our near Future?

I used to think free energy from the Zero Point Energy Field was a theory that was far from producing anything usable. That is until I saw this neat little gadget. Then I ran across these guys who seem to have a plan in mind. So any thoughts?

Wow that's pretty amazing. Just think of all the things we can accomplish just from this.

Yeah, at first I thought all this was a bunch of crap. Then I heard they had one patent and were in the process of getting a few more. Later I found that nice little gadget on Thinkgeek. I so want one or two of those. I almost think I could run my computer with it so I don't have to worry about power surges and a high bill for leaving my computer on all day.

They sure do formulate it to sound like a bunch of crap. Mostly the first link that is.

I'm not saying it is... It's kind of like that cold fusion story (or the water engine), it sounds ahead of everything I've heard about, not only in itself, but also relating to the current stage of its development. I just have a hard time believing the rest of the world would continue, not only ignoring these technologies, but also struggling on lesser techs with similar uses.

Dr EDIT: And for the post below: the low price is another thing that makes my "crazy suspicious person" sense tingle. And also... there can only be one Dr Edit, en garde!

That is one amazing doohickey. I would love to talk to the guys who made that and figure out how the hell they got that to work, and for such a (relatively) low price.

Haa! Free energy! Give me a break. Man will never give up a reason to have power over others, and eventually, this patent will be taken over by big electrical companies, who will hog it for themselves, and never let anyone else have it. Even before they do that, they will put all of their weight against such a thing from occuring, and do the same thing they did to research on making the Teslacoil more efficient.

How long till it's proven to give you cancer?

AndyBloodredMage 07-18-2004 07:16 PM

7 weeks, 3 days, 4 hours, and 2 minutes starting... Now!

Heh damn. It's july though! Should of known though haha Oh well. It's still a cool idea. Remember nothing is impossible with the almost limitless aspects of the human imagination.
