Imperial Barbeque: Meetings
“So this is a tavern?” a tanned woman asked as she and a pale white man entered it.
“Yes Alensa it is,” the man answered as they sat at a table in the corner, “You seem preoccupied.” “I sensed more dragons,” Alensa answered, “But I couldn’t figure out where they were. But there were a lot of them, more than I’ve seen in the same place for a long time. “ “Well then, let us keep an eye out for them,” the man answered, “I’m sure I can sniff em out quickly enough.” “Overconfidence, humanities weakness, will your kind never overcome it Sarden?” Alensa asked snidely. |
Muktar and Gan saw the two newcomers enter the Tavern. "Well?"
"One of them might be. They're talking about my kind." "They may be agents to sniff them out." "True. You'll be careful, I trust." "Huh?" "You're going up to check them out. I'm not risking it." "I suddenly realize why you liked my sense of self-preservation." "Suddenly my wings, you've known me too long for that. No go check them out." "Alright. But I don't see-" "They have pockets." "I'm gone." The younger of the two got out of his chair and began wandering through the crowd, working his way closer to the new pair. When he wasn't looking, his older partner, apparently a mentor, drank both their drinks and began to follow him, just in case he got into trouble. |
*The man standing rather tall at her side was ajusting his bow upon his back, sections of hair falling over his eyes as he did so. Her herself brought a hand up toward her hip, resting it firmly on the hilt of her blade, tight enough to make her knuckles white as each step she took swirled dust up around the area. The man slowly drifted is gaze upon her, though not seeing much due to her hood.*
"...are you feeling alright?...'' *She nodded, but that was all she could offer at the moment. As much comfort as she did find in Leo, it was hard to seek it out now. What good could she be if she wasn't even strong enough for but a moment. He suddenly reached out, snaking a hand around her waist and bringing her up against his chest, flicking the hood off her head as her hair whisped in and out of her face due to the wind. Slowly lifting a hand to cradle her chin, his thumb brushing loose strands of hair from her face.* "Nothing will happen to you...I promise...'' *Leo was like an older brother for her, and she aways was quick to the offer when he gave comfort. Showing a small smile he released her. His own eyes falling upon a near tavern.* "I think rest will be good for the both of us." *With that, his face becoming an emotionless mask, he brushed past her. She was quick to follow, keeping her pace behind him as he pried open the doors. Walking in with muffled foot steps. He sensed more of his kind. His eyes keen on following that vibe. Pausing just at his back she stayed close, but at the same time remaining her distance. She had never seen Leo in this state of mind before.* |
OOC: Muktar, that is going in my quote album. :D
IC: "I sensed it again," Alensa said looking around nerviously. "Calm down, I can easily defeat any dragon, and you know it," Sarden said chuckling at her agitated state. "I see your point," Alensa whispered as she subconciously touched her scar before staring at Muktar as he came over, and then to Gan following him, "Its coming from their direction." "Let them come then, let them make the first move," Sarden whispered back as he put one hand on one of his kodachi. |
Muktar suddenly felt it from one of the pair: a large quantity of anticipation, an urge toward action, and a hint of arrogance. He had been spotted. He decided to use his standard route of introduction. He slipped between two members of the crowd, bumping into the target pair.
"Oh, sorry about that. I was just trying to make my way through crowd." Gan had slipped toward a position to yank Muktar out of the inevitable line of fire his naivety would stir up. OOC: Which part, if not all of it? |

IC: Sarden snorted looking at Muktar, his hand leaving his kodachi, "Please tell me this isn't the one," He said to Alensa who still was watching Gan, who in response shook her head. "Who are you?" Sarden asked a cocky smirk crossing his face. "Still cocky as ever," Alensa said keeping Gan in the corner of her eye. |
"...two of them...if I'm correct..."
His eyes drifted to rest on behind her. She stared at him as solid and cold as ever, her hand lightly playing the back of her shoulder and pulling her hood back on more firmly. Her eyes softening to a point as her hand moved free of her blade. "I sense your ready then? Will you use the Shadow Realm then?'' She looked toward him, lifting her hand slowly, to fingers risen inbetween her eyes, but held at a distance. Suddenly swipping her hand free she disappeared, the fact of her only being there was a soft mist of black aura. Taking a deep breath he pulled his hand through his hair waiting. Herself appearing on the other side of the room. Sitting upon a counter top, her legs crossed on the perch she found herself in, she gently gestured to a female and male. Nodding and taking in what she had done, he made his way toward her. "Very good...'' Offering a simple smile his eyes fell on the two. ((sorry, my posts are going to suck completely for awhile, I'm kinda on writer's block...)) |
"shall he go to the bar robert?" said the fearse dragon.
"only if you don't get drunk this time." "yes mother." "now that's not funny. and also don't get in a fight" but just as robert says that he sees the tencing before battle. "...do as you must" " oh goodie" robert disided to sit down at a table as his dragon disided (damn I know how to spell that *lapse alert lapse alert lapse alert*) what side to fight on. |
The tavern door burst open and two arrows flew in, one hitting the bartender and the other hitting the waitress, killing them both. Two figure stepped into the room. One, an archer and the other, a swordsman. The archer carried a large, black bow. "Hello, guests." said the archer, a man with flaming red hair. "We've decided that because off recent uprsings against dragonkind, everyone in this bar is now dead. The swordsman, a much larger and burlier man than his companion, flung a barrel of undiluted alcohol into the middle of the room. The archer lit an arrow on fire and shot the alcohol as the door closed. The arrow lit the bar on fire, and panic ensued.

"Damn!" Sarden yelled standing up as he took his bardiche in both hands, "Alensa, we are leaving."
"What scared to fight them?" Alensa asked as they both stood up. "Just not worth my time," Sarden answered as Alensa began to transform, "What are you doing?" "I kill imperial solders not innocents," Alensa answered as her skin became scales and her wings sprouted. "There is no such thing as an innocent," Sarden replied as he turned to the archer and swordsman. He began to walk over as Alensa finished her transformation, holding his bardiche in one hand and yelled, "Damn it! Stop this at once!" |
