Rand noticed the sean with the slayers across the river, "come on dalyn lets go help". He said and jumped on the dragon. When they reached the other side he took his glave and slashed right at a slayers face before he could react and jumped beside mukatar. "Need any help"? he asked.

Roy and Kanri observed the battles from above, eavesdropping on the others. "Ah, yes, the dragon city." muttered Kanri. The two undead exchanged glances. "We don't fit in anywhere. Even if we can look normal, we're still considered outcasts by everyone." Roy shook his head. "When I used to work for the Imperial Family before my undeath, I was their best archer and fletcher. I was leader of their archer divison, but a plague caused my undeath. You, however Kanri, were turned into a dracolich by the Death Dealer Mages cult, who were looking for a way to create an undead dragon for them to wield. Niether of us can go back to our homes, for they'd surely slay us." Roy sighed. "We may as well not exist." Kanri agreed. The two of them vanished into the dark, dank Death Mountains.

OOC: I didn't plan on depending on the scavanged items.

Muktar spotted the Slayers that had been pursuing Alensa. He and Gan were both airborn. The one who came first flew past Muktar and tried to stab past Gan's fist, but didn't make it. Rendered unconcious, the fall and the rapids did their work to finish him. The second one tried to get Muktar, but he shifted his body to avoid the slash and roll in close enough for a half-dozen stabs, which he delivered with ease.

OOc: Ok, I wasn't at all saying I was ungreatful. I was saying you never gave me a chance and I was only gone for what, two hours? Give me a break, I have a real life also. And besides, who are you to say my character is in a state of shock?....and that my dragon can't do jack?! Gah, you guys make me out to be so simple minded and weak! So in the end all I'm asking is for you guys to play fair. I don't mind at all that you were helping, in fact, it was rather nice of you. All I was stating is that I was disapointed I didn't have a chance to do anything, is all.

IC:*She gazed upon the others that began to recover from down stream, her eyes narrowing at the sight, but herself seeming as calm as ever, her hand traveling toward her hilt.*

I think Leo...its time you see if your still good with that bow of yours...

*His eyes drifted down to rest upon her, slowly lifting up his hand to remove the bow from his back and drawing an arrow to string it. Suddenly pulling her sword from its haven, she went into the locks of branches for a surprice attack, while she new more then ever Leo would cover her. She wouldn't even have to kill, just draw their attention away for but a moment as Leo did the rest. Jumping from a near limb upon them all, she struck with the dull side of the sword against one man, causing him to stumble back as he then glared upon her. Giving a soft wink in return he went to swip his fist down upon her.

Cutting to the right of the attack just barely she sweaped beneath the fist, seeing his legs parted she rolled between them, finding herself laying on her back at the other side. The man trying to keep up with her pace, turning his head to find her but not quick enough, she lifted up her legs, slamming them into his heals as he began to stumble. The first arrow fired, the aim dead on, another man jumped, snatching the arrow into his grasp as he gazed into the direction it was fired from.*

"...so then...they're that fast...two hands...an arrow for each...can they handle three?"

*The man finally loosing enough balance he struck the icey water, herself dodging and standing as she cut the sword down on his neck, killing him instantly as it found impact. With one man left to manage, seeing the others down stream handling their share, she turned to face the attacker, only to have him snatch her up by the hair.*

-You wrench!!! How low can a woman get working with a dragon! A disgrace!-

Disgrace this you prick!

*She spun in his arms, nailing her knee between his legs as his eyes widdened. Now having himself fall to his knees in a heap. A soft chuckle finding Leo's lips, he strung three arrows, drawing them back and firing. Each one hitting dead on across the man's forhead.*

"We are heading back to the village!"

*With no questions asked she sheathed her sword. Walking over the corpses as she made her way to the direction of the voice.*

OOC: Sorry to burst your bubble Muktar, but I just looked at her dragon's sign up again. As I had thought, it can very easily do something against Dragon Slayers. If any of the dragons can't affect Dragon Slayers it is mine. Now can we stop assuming(sp?) what other people can and can't do? Crimson I apologize for what I did earlier to assist that attitude, I only did it to introduce the two characters. And I am now giving you a good chance to do something.

IC:
"What is this?!" Garzel yelled out, atop Lorvosta, viewing the slaughter of his Dragon Slayers at the hands of Muktar and Gan, "So they are bold enough to kill my Dragon Slayers."

"Dragon! I am Lorvosta the Death Dragon! Come and learn what true power is!" Lorvosta yelled out as he landed and reversed the flow of water with one flap of his enourmass wings.

"Of course you won't live long enough to...What is that?" Lorvosta continued as he looked behind himself to see Alensa spewing acid over his flanks, though for the most part it didn't look like it was doing much, "Another one...A stupid one at that."

OOC: For those who are curious. Size wise, Lorvosta is about four times the size of the other dragons.

Heba and Eclipse ran down the middle of the road, being chased by about ten dragon slayers. "Stop them!" Heba heard one of them shout. Just as I thought, I knew they'd be coming soon enough. Eclipse thought to himself. "Heba, Take them out." Heba turned around, causing a large cloud of dust to kick up behind him. He put on his clawed gauntlets. "If you want to get to him, you'll have to go through me." Heba said, glaring at the dragon slayers. They looked at each other and started to laugh. "So you think I'm funny do you?" Heba snarled. He lept up to not even half his full jumping height and dropped, crossing his arms. He saw the group of dragon hunters take off towards Eclipse, who was trying to blind them and failing. Heba uncrossed his arms and steered directly into the crowd, causing all of the slayers to get blown off their feet. He took out a throwing knife and lept towards one of the slayers, embedding in into their neck. He landed and then took off in the opposite direction, where a slayer was getting up near Eclipse. Heba passed him in midair and hit him quickly in his neck. He landed and ran up to him. The slayer swung his glaive down, and Heba parried it with his claws. He continued on the defensive for a few seconds, then the guard began to slow down, until he finally collapsed.

By this time the rest of the slayers had all gotten up and were chasing Eclipse again. "Damn." Heba said as he lept, turning his body sideways, into the outer wall of a house. He ricochetted off of it and into the newly formed crowd, causing a blur of claw and quite a few loud clangs from the armor. He landed, crouching with his claws out, in front of the crowd of slayers. A few of the slayers dropped, blood spraying from their necks, and the rest of them had at least one scratch on their armor. Heba stood up and turned around, to face the four remaining slayers. He looked at the ground, not saying a word. "Do you know what you're doing? Do you know what noble creatures you're destroying?" He held up a claw, coated in blood. "They are pure creatures, like nature itself, never killing without provocation or cause. Do you think you're above the laws of this world?" He held up the other blood coated claw. "Well then, allow me to teach you just how wrong you are!" He dashed towards the crowd of slayers, who attempted to stab him with their spears. He grabbed one and kicked it, disarming the slayer using it, and swung it around and threw it, deflecting another. He dodged another, which came within an inch of his side. Another came at his left shoulder, he ducked it and rolled to the side, grabbing a slayer by the head and thrusting his hand into his throat. He then threw the dying slayer at his comrades, and jumped on top of them, which was met with a spear that slid by his side, leaving a long, shallow gash. He screamed in fury, sticking his gauntlet through the slayer's armor and ripping at his intestines. He turned towards the only other threat. The slayer was shaking, his spear twitching back and forth as though it was alive. Heba picked up the other slayer, who was disarmed, and backhanded him with his gauntlet hard enough to kill him. Then he walked slowly towards the slayer.

"You Empire fools don't know the meaning of the word honor. Well let me tell you. It's certainly not killing someone just because of who they are. It's the way they act that's important, and the way you're acting deserves death. Or you could always say you're sorry, and indebt yourself to me. Hmm, I'm not sure. Oh, wait, I'll let you live, but I do have something I want you to do." Heba gestured for the slayer to come closer, and opened his arms in a gesture of peace. The slayer looked at him suspiciously, then walked up to him slowly with his spear lowered, still shaking violently. Heba waited until he was within reach then grabbed the Slayer by the throat, using his free hand to twist the spear away. He hefted the slayer up into the air. Heba said slowly and calmly "Tell your comander, boss, emporer, whoever, to stop the dragon hunt now, and I'll let him continue his little twisted regime. If he doesn't, then I'll kill him in the most painful way immaginable. Got that?" Heba said dangerously, as he glared at the slayer menacingly. Heba took his free hand and thrust it into the slayer's eye, plucking it out and dropping it on the ground, where he stomped on it. "If you fail to tell him, I'll pluck out your other eye, then remove your fingers, then toes, until you wish you were dead. And then, I won't let you die. And don't think I'll lose you." He said, not reacting at all to the slayer's screams. Heba took his other hand again, and gave the slayer a light slash across the face, almost playfully. "I'll just look for the slayer I've left my mark on." He said, turning his back and walking up to Eclipse. "There are probably more coming, you know." Eclipse said, his arms crossed. "Right then. Shall we go, sir?" Heba said, plesently. "Yes, take me up." Eclipse said, grasping Heba's gauntlet. Heba lept up to fairly high, then Eclipse transformed. He caught Heba, who prompty lept up onto Eclipse's back. "You're hurt." Said Eclipse, noticing Heba's wound. "Ah, It's just a scratch sir, I hadn't fought that many for a while." He said, resheathing his gauntlets and holding his side, leaning on it to try and slow the blood flow. "Well, I won't have you bleeding to death on my back. We should rest somewhere for a while, somwhere we can bind up your wounds easily..." Eclipse said, thinking to himself. "I think that'd do fine, master." Said Heba, pointing at a forest. "Good idea. I can smell others in that direction. Let's go." He said, taking off towards the forest, landing a bit inside. Eclipse transformed back, sniffing in his human form. "I can smell some dragons in that direction." he said, pointing into the forest. "But I also smell some humans, and fresh blood." He said, and he and Heba started running until the reached the clearing. He stopped, seeing Lorvosta. "Out of one fire and into another, Heba, get ready."

Ganurath 07-22-2004 10:22 AM

Gan and Muktar look at the newcomer, then look at each other.
"He's four times your size."
"Reinforcements?"
"They dragon with acid breathe could use a hand."
"Let's go."
Muktar mounts Gan and, flying low, they buzz over the Slayers fighting Alensa, the wind from his wake knocking some other. Gan doubles back and lands, crushing a few Slayers underfoot. Muktar then dismounts and, taking a halberd, begins stabbing at remaining prone Slayers until they are dead or somebody faces a Slayer who isn't prone.
"Hey, acid breathe, the Slayers got themselves a big dragon. Mind giving us a hand?"

OOC:Thank you Zorshnal, and your most forgiven.

*Her eyes slowly flew up upon the others, mostly resting on the dragon up ahead. The thought of drawing out her sword slowly was put away at the thought of what a tooth pick like blade would do to a dragon compared at this side. Leo fell at her side, his eyes falling on the same sight while his eyes narrowed a bit.*

"...I have to go help them....''

*He whispered, turning his gaze upon her, she nodded as she gazed toward the right.*

They'll be sending more slayers...I'll stay behind for them...

*He nodded ever so, lifting the bow from his back and setting it upon her palms, closing her finger tips around it.*

"Listen to me, I'll but up with my own problems...I wont have time to keep my eyes upon you...do not leave your perch unless the is other with you...understand?...I want you to remain in the shadows..."

*She nodded, quickly taking up the bow and darking into the canopy of darkness the forest set. Thoughts running through head, if all of the dragons could not defeat this mighty beast, she'd be the first to offer her life in doing so. Leo bracing his changes he picked up, lifting at a distance as he gazed over the dragon, letting out a might roar as the ground shook at his feet.*

"I call upon the demons from Hell, guide this creature to the underworld!"

*Suddenly two pits of fire rising into colums, they broke forth towards the sky. Wrapping around the mighty dragon and resting around its throat. Though they were two unsolid creatures, it seemed they were at this point. Hisses breaking forth from each tongue, the serpents beared their fangs, tearing at the flesh of their enemy at whatever chance was taken. Leo knew the creature wouldn't be binded for long, action most be taken, and quickly.

Slowly he began to put his wings in show, preparing himself for the next attack.*

Rand finished of the slayers he was facing and got on Dalyn "lets show him what we can do" he said as they took flight. "Dalyn" he said "weaken his hide". Dalyn used used his ice breath to weaken the dragons hide then he dove down .roan took his glave and struck where the hide was weaker from the ice breath when he landed he saw that he had barley hurt the dragon at all. "barley a scratch" he said to Dalyn. "I think this going to be a lot harder then we expected".

Zorshnal 07-22-2004 02:25 PM

"Heehahahahahahahahahaha!" Lorvosta laughed as he shook his body dispelling the fire serpents, "It takes more than that to even hurt me. Allow me to show you what a real spell is."

"Not before I get off!" Garzel yelled at Lorvosta as he took to the air.

"Alensa, launch me towards him," Sarden said glaring at the prince.

"Good idea, take him down," Alensa said as she grabbed Sarden with her tail and threw him straight at Garzel.

Garzel barely noticed in time to bring up his Zweihander to block Sarden's bardiche, they both were sent careening towards the ground. Garzel's armored back hit the ground, creating a large crater. Garzel wasn't even phased by it as he pushed Sarden off and got up. "Damn," Sarden said getting ready to attack again.

"Sarden, so you have betrayed me," Garzel said as he swung his Zweihander horizontally, sending a blast of wind towards Sarden that pushed him back, "In favor of what? Gaining the power of a dragon? Well I too have that power, and more."

"You royalty sure do like to talk a lot don't you?" Sarden mocked bracing himself for an attack.

Lorvosta began to glow with a dark aura as waves of dark energy began to emmanate from him, "Two minutes, that is all I need to finish this spell."

Alensa turned her head to look at Gan and Muktar, "What do you plan on doing? If I thought I could outrun it I wouldn't be here, what could we possibly do against a Great Wyrm?"
