Cyber Wars Chapter 15: Command Decisions
 

OOC: The new chapter: OF DOOM!!! MWA HA HA HA HA HA!!! <clears throat> sorry.

BIC: Wolf grabbed his Omni-Falcon from his quarters and ran up to the ops room. Before entering he contacted Beowulf.

"Beowulf. Do what you can to make a Cyber Version of the Omni-Falcon. Try to have it ready in case we have to go in to the Cyber World to get the guns online."

"I'll get right on it."

Wolf enetered the ops room and waited for the others to arrive.

"Time until the enemy craft reach the perimeter?" he asked

"9 minutes, 10 seconds" the lead technician answered.

shit. Wolf thought. He contacted the leaders of CF-Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsillon. "Get your teams ready, we've got a shitload of enemies headed our way."

Coyote was packing a bag. "I'm going on vacation you have my cell phone number call me if there is a problem. I'll be in fiji." Coyote now appeared in bermuda shorts and a hawaiian shirt.

*BAMF!!*

"Son of a bitch!" Wraith exclaims while jumping to his feet.

Moments later he bursts into the ops room, dressed lightly in a flak jacket and carrying an Uzi and a belt of knives in his hands. "Reporting... how many are there? And where?"

Glancing to his right, he spots the lead tech and points at him. "And get those guns back online, Sergeant!"

"Trying, sir!" Sergeant Mathers replies, madly mashing buttons.

"Don't try it; do it, damnit!"

OOC: Quick note, what you equip in RW doesn't transfer to the Cyber World, rather it is uploaded. However, most people wear the equipment in RW anyway, in case they need a gun upon logout.

BIC:Wolf shot a glare at Wraith. "Don't go hard on him...it's not his fault. Mastermind has locked out our control of the guns. As to how many enemies there are...well...just take a look at the radar screen."

Wolf pointed to the radar. There was a massive amount of red dots moivng towards the center of the screen. The entire top half of the screen was all red.

"Even with the guns online, it would be difficult to repel that force. However, we are going to get those guns online the only way that is possible now. We're going to have to jack into the network, enter the Cyber World, and activate the guns."

Kaitlin walked in, equipped with a bunch of throwing stars and a TMP-75. She saw the radar screen and gasped. "Oh my God...we really need to get those guns online." she said.

Wolf nodded "That we do...and we have to go into the network to do it...and who knows what Mastermind already has in there."

Wraith's left eye twitches slightly. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

"You're not the only one," Wolf said. "If your bad feeling has anything to do with Agents...then we're thinking on the same wavelength."

(( Think SS is gonna hate us? =P ))

Wraith's eye twitches again and his jaw clenches. He hadn't even thought of that. "Where's Coyote when you need him? Anyway, we should go as soon as Angel--"

A loud scuffle is heard in the hallway, no doubt Angel. "--Gets here."

OOC: Damn... Agents... It's too bad Monk isn't there to help... He was able to take on two as well as an army... [Goldmember]Too bad for YOuuUU...[/Goldmember]

OOC: Introverted recluses are not allowed to taunt...and here's why. Observe these numbers, if you will.

Number of Agents Wolf has killed: 6 (1 was with an assist from Angel, two were suffering from BSS, and two were in RW, where he had more physical limitation)
Number of soldiers Wolf killed at one point: Over 700 (and that was with 3 bullet wounds, one of which was potentially fatal)
Number of times Wolf has run away and burned all bridges to everyone: 0 (his fleeing Mastermind 5 years prior doesn't count because he didn't sever his connection with Kaitlin (which was the only thing keeping him alive, really))
Number of times Monk has run away and burned all bridges to anyone: At least once.

And as for that army you took on? Keep in mind while Monk was fighting inside his head...we were fighting said army (and doing a damn fine job of it too.)
