CALLING ALL RPers! The Great Raiden RP Contest!
 

Yet again, it is time for Raiden's RP Forum RP Contest! This is the chance to show everyone just how good you really are!

The contest consists of two areas: Fighting and Drama.

FIGHTING: Kind of self-explanatory. This is a fight scene. A large majority of an RP is based on how well you can role-play a fight. Rules are below.

DRAMA: Every good RP has fighting, but the other part that makes an RP great is the story along with it. This is pretty much anything that isn't a huge fight scene. It could be a love scene. It could be a conversation. It could be a comedy scene. It doesn't matter. See rules below.

**Rules**

1) There are no rules attached to how your scene can be. You can choose your scene to be anything you want. If you want your fight to be between two robots in space, that's fine. If you want your fight set in the Japan Feudal era, that's fine. If you want your dramatic scene to be a remake of a Romeo and Juliet scene, that's fine. It doesn't matter. That also means that I trust you guys to use some common sense.

2) There will be two threads for this contest. A Fight Thread, and a Drama Thread. If you enter, you must make a scene for both. And don't worry about not thinking you can do a good job. It doesn't matter. You could get an award for doing good in the Fight Thread, and that should make up for your loss in the Drama Thread.

3) You are allowed to make your post, and you may edit your post only ONCE. Even if all you do is change a word the first time you edit, you may not edit again. If you edit more than once, it's an automatic disqualification.

**Awards**

Of course, what would a contest be without awards? But since we're on a tight budget, (or more like a NO budget), your rewards are ranks that you may put in your sig. The better you do, the higher your rank. The ranks are as follows (from lowest to highest):

- RP Plebean
- RP Commoner
- RP Noble
- RP Knight
- RP Deity
- RP God

By putting your ranks into your sig, people can now see how good of an RPer you are, and might think better of you. Of course, putting them in your sig is completely your choice.

Also, there will be the ranks of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th handed out.

**Judging**

Judges have been handpicked by me for freshness and taste...no wait, that's my orange juice. But, you get the idea. They are secret people, and after you post your entry, they will score it and I will present it. After everyone has had their scores, they will then give comments to everyone using their special Judge names.

If I just have to say 'I sign up!' then I'm in. If there are prerequesites, what are they?

Hm... I might have trouble with the fighting style one... But the Drama scene? HA! That's all mine.

Been a long time since I've written any deep drama. I might even be getting rusty...

Time to bust out the old skeelz.

Meh, even though I made one of these awhile ago, I don't really feel the need to have others approve of me. Everyone who needs to know my RP quality has RPed with me.

Although it will be fun to see all the pathetic n00b attempts at proving their 'quality', so I will keep an eye on these...

Now, here's my dilemma...do I somehow link the two? Or do they operate independantly? Is the fight swords and style? Or realistic gunplay?

I'll do this too. I want some opinions about how I RP, so this just add some awards onto the whole thing.

That's all you have to do. Even people who are almost never in the RP board are allowed to enter.
