post your favorite RTS strategy. Can be from any RTS under any circumstance (including unholy alliance)

ZERG RUSH!

Starcraft being one of the only RTSs I'm good at I usually do one of a few things.
ZERGLING RUSH if Zerg
Cannon Block if Protoss, for those of you who don't know I put cannons right outside your front door to keep you trapped and busy trying to destroy them.
Terran I actually use strategy. Usually make about 3 nukes, and 5 Sci Vessels, then use the rest of my Resources split between Medics and Marines, usually 2 Marines to 1 Medic. Blow away the front defense (cannons towers etc) with nukes, then pour 100 stimming marines with medic back up to keep them allive. While Sci Vessels check for any invisible units.

Although the RTS genre isn't my cup of tea, I will agree with Stover, and add this:

ZERG RUSH! kekeke!

Gather resources, make units, and kill the other guy.

Long range stalling. I'll build a chokepoint, make you run down it, and rain death upon you from a mile out. If you try to go any other route, you will suffer my cannon towers!

And then I just slowly spread like a plague.

I tend to turtle until I'm ready to strike. My favorite strategy on C&C Yuri is to use lots of robot tanks and Batlle fortresses full of guardian GIs. In say starcraft I use Goliaths and Siege tanks. In WC3 I adapt my strat to fit the situation.

Defend until person attacks and then send a rush of units.

Note: Never works for me....

Cheat to get unlimited resources and no unit limit, then storm with invinceble peons.

Quick resource gathering then mass production of the most well balanced unit in the game and then attack constantly.

:D I love my Hydralisks in Starcraft. Farely strong, can attack just about anything that moves, ranged attack, and they are cheap to make.

Though I am actually better with the Protoss in the game, I just like the Zerg for some reason.

Though that is always fun as well.
