NO idea what to do about his left foot.

Krylo 07-27-2004 10:46 PM

...I'd be more worried about 'his' breasts than 'his' left foot, if I were you.

I don't see a problem with the foot... just the fact that you refer to it as a he, and the chest looks busty. I think it's the way the shirt is shaded.

Maybe it would look more like pecs if you didn't shade under them as much on the shirt part. I don't think it look bad, just a suggestion if you think it looks wrong.

Edit: It looks great though! I can do pictures like that ^^

I tried standing like your sprite is with the left foot turned that way on the balls of my feet with straight legs, it was very painful. The face, hair and eyes are very good though. Keep them coming.

I think you're having trouble with the feet because they're not pointed naturally. The rear one should really be pointing towards the 'camera', and the front one should be pointed forward.

A. It's a dragon which has wolf legs. That upper bit there isn't the back of it's foot. It's the ankle. So far as I can tell

B. I can stand like that just fine, whether on the balls of my feet or not. It is a little weird to have the front foot turned instead of the back, but it's not hard or anything.

Its not human, so what's natural for it, and whats natural for us is different. I think it looks great. And Krylo just sees big breasts b/c of his perverted mind.

I'll admit the shading in the chest area is a bit weird though *shrugs*

I think is looks good, better than anything I could ever do, since I cant draw and all(funny thing is I took two art classes in high school)

Thaumaturge 07-28-2004 04:15 AM

Very nice indeed. My only comment is that it might be better if there were more contrast (i.e. lsightly brighter highlights) on the flesh sections. This might make those parts look a little more three-dimensional. Personally, I like the stance, it looks right for a creature like this.

Oh, and if you want to reduce the "Krylo factor" around the chest, try reducing the vertical contrast a little. I can see what Krylo means, but only if I'm looking for it.
