No smoke, it is an electric train.

What went wrong?

What went wrong is you said a=x. Those are two completely different numbers! I mean, come on...

It's an electric train. It doesn't give off smoke.
Not bad. Not bad at all.

What can make a seeing man blind, can make a blind man see. Can destroy mountains, and build castles.

SK fans should know the answer...

"I never was, am always to be,
No one ever saw me, nor ever will
And yet I am the confidence of all
To live and breathe on this terrestrial ball."

Um....the future?

Um....the future?

Well...tomorrow. But I'll accept future as the answer.

A thunderclap or a baby's cry
Is enough to shatter me,
So fragile am I.
I cannot be seen nor heard.
Though at times,
Speak my name and there I'll be.

This is an easy one, I know. But please bear with me, it's my first riddle.

The first thought was "silence", but now I'm thinking "peace".

Viktor Von Russia 12-05-2003 02:12 PM

Yeah, it was silence. You could yell "SILENCE!" and everyone would shut up. I doubt it would suddenly be peaceful if you yelled for peace.

They'd look funny at you, some would beat you up, then they'd go back to killing each other.
