Favorite FF7 Party
 

In the spirit of all of the "Which is your favorite .... in ...." questions, I'll have to ask what was everyone's favorite party in Final Fantasy 7? Say who you used, and why... (and argue that yours was the best :D)

I would say that my favorite party after Aeris died, :(
would be:
1.Cloud(of course)
2.Tifa
3.Vincent
Why I liked this party? Well, I started the game and out of habit, just started putting tifa and aeris as my main party. Then, when Aeris died, I started using Vincent more because I loved his Limit Breaks! Buy the end of Disc 2, Vincent Cloud and Tifa were about level 93, and everyone else was neglected and about level 60 or 70.
But Yuffie was about level 30. ^_^

Cloud, Cid, and... I forgot the third person. I think it was either Nanaki or Vincent. Cid was great because his Limit was like a mini-Omni Slash, and he has both a great physical damage and magic ability. You just HAVE to have Cloud in your party. I mean, it's a given. The last two... Well... They're just cool.

Haha... I'm also a big fan of the Cloud/Vincent parties... I also like Cid... It is the most bad-ass party... I mean, Cloud has a huge sword (always a plus), Vincent uses guns (and he changes into monsters!! yeah!!), and Cid.... he always has that cigarette and he just looks like a general badass with that unshaven look.... i mean, if you're going just by looks, this is possibly the best party!! (oh yeah... and vincent just looks like a vampire normally).... you could sub Barret in for any of the people and it's still good.... he's the good number 4 guy.... only if you're going for the "My party just looks badass" party though...

Right on! VIncent and Cloud rule!

Vincent does rule. But I was always clumsy with his limit breaks. I kept it nice and simple. Cloud, Tifa, and Barret. Can't get much simpler than that. I pretty much did the same thing as the_aeon and neglected everyone else. I kept gaining all these new characters, but never switched them up cause my original three were always the strongest.

Bah. Vincent was a liability while in monster form. I can recall getting frustrated more than once when once of his attacks ended up healing a resistant enemy repeatedly, as well as once or twice desperately wishing I was able to have him use an item or magic in a tight spot.

Me, I always used Cloud, Cid, Yuffie and...well...whomever I felt like. Not Tifa, because I stink with her limits, or Cait Sith, because his limits just stink.

Didn't Cait only have one limit?

Cloud Cid and Yuffie is what I ended up with. Aeris when she's alive instead of Yuffie. But, really, sad truth is it doesn't matter for FF7... materia was everything.

Oh, and Cait Sith was the worst character ever concieved by the minds of square. I hated that... thing.
