Hah! XP home is for ninnies and Dell users.

I have a slow computer that works for what I need it for.

I recently got a laptop (I named her Dellilah. Two L's, because it's clever), and the coolest thing I found on it was the voice recognition technology for programs like Word.

I can say "Bold" and it will make it bold! I can say "Italic!" and it will make it italic! I can say "File" "Print" "Current Page" "Okay" and it will open-the-file-menu-and-then-print-the-current-page! I can say anything and it will do it! Omigod! I just about died when I found this out. I've been printing out blank sheets from across the room. I realize that I'm probably the last person in the world to know that computers could do this. But it makes me happy. I am mad with power.

I'm printing a page now. Ahaha!

(Actually, does anyone know how I got this? Does it come standard with XP Pro? Did I accidentally pay extra for it? I didn't know what the hell I was buying. Computers have more acronyms than the army. I flipped a coin most of the time.)

Windows ME is a virus. The other viruses probably just make it run better.

Also, I hate you all and your superior systems... I demand that you send me one of them as reperations.

Seconded. And I laugh at all youse and your power-hungry, heat-generating desktop processors!

Compaq Presario X1000 (Only problem involves a bad MOBO HDD connection, fixed by a plastic shim)
Windows XP Pro and Coming Soon! Fedora Core 1
Intel Pentium M 1.4 GHz, 251 MHz (discontinued clock speed on this laptop)
512 MB dynamic memory
40 GB hard disk
24/8/8/8 DVD/CD-RW drive
Intel Pro 2100 Wireless LAN
1280x800 WXGA screen (that's widescreen for those not in the know)
ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 with 64 MB
10/100 Ethernet
56k modem
3 USB ports
1 cheap FireWire port
1 VGA port
1 parallel port
1 S-Video out
1 Audio out
1 Audio in
JBL Pro speakers, 16-bit sound card
1 PCI I/II PCMCIA slot
6.5 lb, 1.3 inch width, 3-hour battery life

It can outpace anything except the extremely powerful systems and 64-bit chips and apps. I just need a faster graphics card and HDD speed, and it'd would be INSANELY fast.

It definitly roxxorz THIS boxxorz.
