Hah! XP home is for ninnies and Dell users.
I have a slow computer that works for what I need it for. |
I recently got a laptop (I named her Dellilah. Two L's, because it's clever), and the coolest thing I found on it was the voice recognition technology for programs like Word.
I can say "Bold" and it will make it bold! I can say "Italic!" and it will make it italic! I can say "File" "Print" "Current Page" "Okay" and it will open-the-file-menu-and-then-print-the-current-page! I can say anything and it will do it! Omigod! I just about died when I found this out. I've been printing out blank sheets from across the room. I realize that I'm probably the last person in the world to know that computers could do this. But it makes me happy. I am mad with power. I'm printing a page now. Ahaha! (Actually, does anyone know how I got this? Does it come standard with XP Pro? Did I accidentally pay extra for it? I didn't know what the hell I was buying. Computers have more acronyms than the army. I flipped a coin most of the time.) |
8 inches long and 3 inches wide... oh THAT hardware!
120 megabytes of RAM and Windows ME. That's all you need to know to understand how goddamn horrid my computer is right now.
