Solaris grinned. He'd caused the Black Mage and the thief to argue. "Now then," he murmured. "I'm taking these convicts, and I won't be stopped." His wings ignited into holy fllames, and the venom's effect was eliminated. He rose into the air as the room began to combust. "Leave with your lives, or your lives will leave you!" His eyes fixed on Myrra. "Taste my pain, bitch!" Solaris flew into the sky as the building imploded upon itself and collapsed into rubble, taking the Light Warriors with him.

OOC: Hmm, someone's in a pissy mood. Bad form on your part. Time for me to go into super nerf mode.
A pile of rubble collapses as Mercury deactivates the force wall that protected him and the others from the collapsing building. He smiles at the recollection of his shunt spell redirecting some of the magic onto him and his natural resistance to magic preventing most ill effects aside from a mild headache. The upshot of all this was that he'd added a new spell to his already vast repetoire of blue magic. He looks at the others, who are mostly in a state of surprise and/or barely suppressed rage and smiles again. That winged elf probably would be finding quite a few hexes coming his way over the next few weeks. They might even be delievered personally seeing how the "Light warriors" that he'd flown off with were really swiftly fashioned simulcra. Mrrcury takes a moment to bask in his own glory before looking around and wondering where the real light warriors were buried. |
OOC: Solaris=godmodder. The venom has no antidote, and your angel elf is gonna die pretty soon if he doesn't stop godmoding...
Aeryn pointed at the flying Avariel, a ball of energy forming between his hands as he chanted, "ICE-3!" a blast of ice shot at the winged elf, freezing his wings and dropping him to the ground, "some more of that paralyzing poison, Rage?" he said, his tone icy. |
OOC: Everyone= Godmoddy: How the hell am I gonna go with the RP if my guy is fuckin' screwed!?
|
OOC: you provoked a combat too early against characters who are each just as powerful as you are, that's why! Besides, Solaris was doing something impossible, carrying away several people at once, all of whom would be fighting back, all of whom are armed, and one of whom can cast Hadoken! Just take the hit, and run off with your wings injured or something!
|
OOC: ok calm down. The most I was going to do was to further my argument with Will. I was actually stalling for you to retaliate.
@ dragonsbane: There is an antidote, but it's easier to burn out the venom with holy fire. Besides, the antidote is known only to Myrra exclusively. BIC: Myrra had expected some sort of retaliation, and smugly stood under the collapsing room. It soon was clear that she had expanded a powerful force field of some sort, and whatever fell down directly above her was averted and thrown randomly away. Aeryn's immediate reaction of throwing a level 3 ice bolt made her raise an eyebrow. "I can only use the poison once a day. That's the drawback. It's a highly skilled weapon, but obviously, a new antidote to it is to just burn it out with holiness," she replied drily. She was not pleased that Solaris had found a way of ridding her poison. And not pleased made her rage boil. "I will now live up to my name," she said softly. She casually flicked open the scroll, and it was evident that she had randomly (and luckily) chosen a strange summons spell. The ancient, faded writing on the scrolls glowed, collecting and condensing light. OOC: Let's just say i'm taking another page from the game of Diablo. Anybody heard of the golems that the necro's can summon? |
IC: Aeryn looked over at Myrra, "If holy fire destroys it.....I'm guessing the poison itself is somehow unholy, interesting...." he said, his eyes narrowed slightly, as though he was considering something as he looked at her, then continued, "by the way, don't waste the scroll, the fall should kill him. And if it doesn't, we'll want to kill him ourselves..."
|
OOC: I agree to Dragon's last OOC post. You did attack a little too early, and haven't bothered to have your character analyse the initial power of the two dark mages. Still, both our characters are acting on hatred, and hatred makes rash decisions, no?
BIC: "Oh, nononono," Myrra shook her head, highly amused, "I've tested the scroll with my magick. Seems like the one that made it wanted it for multiple uses, instead of wasting it with one shot that might or might not summon the creature," she replied. Still, the glowing runes that carved themselves into the scroll faded in colour and intensity. She lowered the scroll and rolled it up with one deft flick of her wrist. "Still, if it does kill him, we would want to make sure he's dead, right?" she said conversationally, noting the gleam of amusement in the fellow dark mages eyes. "Mutilate his remains, gotcha," he merely replied. Still, Myrra charged up a firebolt-4 as backup just in case something goes wrong. |
Solaris, upon his wings being frozen and the combined weight of the fake Light Warriors, plummeted to the ground and hit face first, coughing up blood. This was normal for him, however, for it was an affliction that couldn't be cured. He'd failed, and it was now time to redeem himself by facing punishment.
********************************************** "You can't do this!" yelled Solaris. The leader of the Order of Valor, Sir Garan Karsterr, had just exempt him from the Order. Solaris stormed out of the Great Hall. "Mark my words, Karsterr. You will pay." Solaris's wings became black and bat-like, his eyes became a deep scarlet color, and his hair changed from brown to pale silver, almost white. His teeth grew more vampiric, and the psychotic devil in Solaris assumed control. He began to fly back to where he fought the Black Mages. He floated down and watched them search fo a body. "Looking for something?" His voice had become deep and gutteral, and his armor was now black and spiked. |
OOC: ehh, well, I’m going to take my chances and run awaaaaaaay!
BIC: But Myrra was already far away by the time Solaris returned to exact revenge on the others. Striding down some unmarked territory in the middle of some unmarked woods to the north of Corneria, she silently smirked to herself. Today was fun. She managed to nuke a magic shop, threaten a thief with strange scrolls (not to mention obtain one of great power) and almost kill a half-breed angel, while having him bring down the accursed inn with his anger. Yep, today can’t get any better. She revelled in the destruction caused. |
