OOC: Hmm, short post.

Mercury glances up at Solaris and then yawns ostentatiously. He then looks at his claw and closely examines the fine pattern of silvery-blue scales. While showing exaggerated disinterest in Solaris he secretly prepares another spell.

On his way to the pawn shop Will thoght about his day. "It has been a very strange day I met two black mages that tried to kill me, two dragons, lost a scroll, gained a heap of money and obtained a few trinkets from a light warrior hunting bird man". "I wonder what happened to them all of them". "Oh well I suppose I can find out tonite at the inn but I better go borrow a disguise in case the bird comes back"

Aeryn had decided to go along with Myrra....and was currently building a campfire. The problem was really trying NOT to incinerate the logs with even a Lit-1.....but he'd managed to succeed admirably, "So.....what exactly was that scroll supposed to summon, anyway?" he asked, having already checked out his own scroll.

Seeing that nobody was left, Solaris smiled. "Good. More blood for me." He returned to the Hall of Valor and approached it. The two door guards raised their weapons, and Solaris held up a spoon. The party begins. His gaze stunned them instantly, and went to work with the spoon. Having dealt with them, he kicked down the huge doors and disintegrated ten of the knights with a wave of his fiendish hand. He gazed at several more, and they screamed in terror as their skin began to peel from their bodies. The internal organs of the rest of them imploded, and all that was left of them were pieces of metal, shrapnel, skin, blood, bones, and thier hearts. He scooped up the hearts and set the building on fire, leaving the corpses of the door guards. He flew away to search for one of the Black Mages, and soon found both Myrra and Aeryn in the nearby forest. He dropped down from the sky and landed ten feet in front of her, and he raised the bloody, still-beating hearts of the slain knights, grinning maliciously.

OOC: What he did to the guards with the spoon is really sick, so I might just leave it out in this post.

OOC: how the hell are you a half-fiend now?

IC: "Well well well....." Aeryn chuckled, "Apparently I was right, that self-righteous bullshit you were spouting earlier only lasted as long as it took you to see your weakness" he stood up, his midnight-blue robes whipping about him in the chill wind, "If you attack us, you will die. If you flee, you will be hunted down by your own kind. If you join us, you will serve us eventually.....your choice was wise, but done incorrectly." he shrugged, "You're worthless anyway......it's not like any of us care about your fate."

OOC: that reminds me of what Krug would do in VGcats. I’m considering this as godmodding, but it really depends.
BIC: Myrra was seated cross-legged, her back to the campfire. She casually studied the open scroll in her right hand, projecting a feeling of ignorance to Solaris’ presence. Of course, she was well prepared if the half-fiend was to attack. Flicking the scroll closed with a deft movement of her wrist, she threw it in the fire.
“… What are you doing?!”
“Burning the scroll, what do you think I’m doing?” Myrra replied to Aeryn’s shocked question, watching the flames consume the scroll.
OOC: dun worry. Myrra’s got a trick.

Aeryn nodded, "I suppose there's no harm in letting batty stand over there for a while...." he came over and sat down next to her, looking into the flames, "So, what were you doing in Corneria at the same time as the Light Warriors?"

Rhiya Ravenwing 08-11-2004 10:09 PM

"Funny you should mention," Myrra mused. "I was actually looking for a wand to help channel my spells through. Couple of my ex-friends told me about Corneria's skilled workmanship in that area, so I decided to explore a bit." Myrra laughed mirthlessly, "Turned out that the spell shop was a little behind in the art of manslaughter, and their wands were too weak. Naturally, I took disciplinary action."
"I noticed the fire."
"So you did, so you did."

OOC: Well, seeing how everyone's wandered off I'll have to call on my blue magic yet again.

Mercury sighs, his plan to provoke the half-fiend hadn't worked. Still there were the black mages, wherever they'd wandered off to. Summoning up his blue magic he casts an aura tracing spell to follow the spoor of Myrra. Smiling when he locates her general position he opens his eyes. He moves over to the magic shop, which is still ablaze, and walks into the flames.

At the campsite Mercury casually saunters out of the campfire. Looking around at the odd group bunched around it he says, "Well, we meet again." Seeing everyone's at least mildly surprised expressions he adds, "Oh, I used a fire stride spell to get here. That's why I walked out of the fire."

Rhiya Ravenwing 08-12-2004 06:37 AM

OOC: Myrra isn't surprised. She's done that kind of thing before... when she was in serious trouble of getting caught with genocide that is >:)
BIC:"Another ironic meeting?" Myrra arched a sarcastic eyebrow, “why did you cast trace on me? Couldn’t you just as easily have used Aeryn as target?”
“Considering that you mass murdered copious amounts of lives in Corneria, your essence was stronger where I stood,” Mercury replied.
“Still doesn’t explain why you bothered looking for us. We’re not fun when we’re not killing.”
