Final Fantasy owns my soul. I made a bargain back in FF7 days that if only that goody-goody Aeris would die, Final Fantasy could have full and complete posession over my soul. Lo and behold, the quasi-evil yet good intentioned hands of Sephiroth took her life.

Thats how I feel about Final Fantasy.

Hmm... loved VI, loved Tactics, had a lot of fun twinking around in V. Hated VIII, was massively underwhelmed by Tactics Advance, and found IX to be strangely less than the sum of its parts. (I really wanted to like IX for all of its great elements, but couldn't because it still bored me to tears.) Give the rest credit as "good".

So far ive beaten 1,2,3,4,5, and 6! i couldnt find a 7 or 8 so im working on 9 right now and it is fun!

Sometimes when I'm home alone....I make sweet sweet love to the Final Fantasy. Then we cuddle.

That is just creepy right there...


I have VIII and X, I liked em both but 8 was better. I plan to get I, II, VII, and IX next time I hit the mall(I've seen them all priced low used).

I should be more diligent in my searches for 7 and 8!

I've beaten (here we go):
FF1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, Mystic Quest
and I've played:
FF2, 3, and tactics.

Here's my rating on them:
1- rocked, I mean, come on, it was the ORIGINAL FF.
2- dunno, didn't play it too much. I got stuck at a really stupid part in the game.
3- same as above
4- pretty good. It's fun going through the game and naming the characters strange things.
5- pretty good as well. The ability system is kinda confusing at first though.
6- Owns my soul! The best of the bunch. ^^
7- no comment, I don't want to get mobbed by the mass group that love FF7 so much. I'll just say this: It was... alright. (I guess I tend to be weird and unlike lots of other people. ^^ hehe)
8- it was alright, but the end of the game seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute.
9- A close second after VI, I loved all of the characters, especially steiner and Zidane together were awesome. The ending made me cry. ^^ hehe.
10- Pretty good. A little too linear, but it was alright.
10-2- VERY unlinear, and pretty good, but not as good as 10. Has pretty good replay-ability. I LOVE the ability system though!
Mystic Quest- stunk. I mean, you shouldn't be able to beat a final fantasy within two days. It was way too easy.
Tactics- Didn't play it too much, mybrother took it to college, but it's alright.

Well that's my overveiw of the FF series. ^^ (I write way too much when I have nothing much to do)

FFVI is the greatest FF of the series. I've played 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Tactics, Mystic Quest, and I haven't beaten one of them...

I seriouslya just have a problem with beating the FF games. I am able to beat the rest of the game at levels lower than recommended, and when I reach teh end they always pull some trick were they need to be super leveled up to inhuman stats to beat the game.

FF1: Been playing it, haven't gotten to the end yet.
FF2: Haven't started it yet.
FF4: Haven't started it yet.
FF5: Started it, but became bored with it and just stopped.
FF6: Played through the entire game 4 times and never beat it (long story), I always get to the end, and then just give up when you have to level up the ENTIRE CAST OF CHARACTERS to beat the game, when I play through the game using my sort of corp of super developed heros that could take Kefka down, but can't pull the weight of my 9 other weaklings, that game really seemed made only to anger me, even though its my favorite.
FF7: Got to the end, but it was on my computer instead of PS, and when my computer went belly up on me and I lost everyhting, I lost the will to try it again.
FF8: On my PS, but my memory card went belly up on me, and I lost the will to try again because it was my second attempt. (Both of those are true stories)
FF9: Started it, but around seconds disk just became bored and stopped playing.
FF10: Played it constantly for awhile, and burned out on it. Plan on going back to it soon.
FFT: In the accident that took FF8 I lost FFT to, and I haven't continued it, even though it is a contender for 2nd favorite FF.
FFMQ: Rented it a loooong time ago, got a good bit into it, but I never rented it again. Might look for a ROM or something and beat it just so I can say I beat 1 FF game...
