hmm, well, it was probably some 2600 game, most likely E.T. *shudder*, but the first I remember was either mario or duck hunt, cant remember which was first, since they had that double game cartridge.

LEGENDARY WINGS! for the Nes.
if you've never heard of it, download the rom. it's so worth your time. |
SMB1/Duck Hunt (dual cartridge) got me hooked on video games when I was 3. That was quickly followed by Maniac Mansion, SMB2...and Wolfenstien 3D. Then I started playing so many games it all blurred.

I'm not exactly sure if I got the order straight, so it was one of two things (either of which I was about 3 years old):
1.I got the SMB/Duck Hunt NES for Christmas. I couldn't play SMB at first, because I had to look at the controller (hey, I said I was three), so I played Duck Hunt 2. If this was first, it was only slightly before the Duck Hunt thing. I remember playing Combat(that's the one with the tanks right?) on Atari. |
I believe mine was lander for commodore 64? I am not sure I was pretty young. We had a counting game with bert and ernie and some sort of spaceship for the 2600 with its own special controller also. I know for sure my first NES game (that i owned and played) was Ducktales

Wolfenstine for the PC. Yes, ive been shooting nazis sence i was five, but i dont own any M games. Ironic, no?

I don't think that's irony.

When you say video game does that include arcade games or are we strictly talking console systems?
The first thing I ever touched was the old sit down version of Space Invaders in an Arbys the day I saw Empire Strikes Back at the movies. I think I was 6... After that, I'm pretty sure the first console game I played was Football on the Atari 2600. |
Brand: I'd say it generally includes any arcade, console, or computer games. Most conversations on these forums do unless noted otherwise.
