Out of curiousity, how did the wierd spider thing suddenly jump out from no where and not have been detected by anyone before that, grap six people, instantly knock them out, then get away before the rest of the group even noticed? It doesn't even have any arms or hands, just a mouth and legs.

Because SS is in charge. And it makes the RP more interesting.
