As for my opinion, I don't see why it is neccesary to judge somebody by their appearance that is part of who they are, no matter how many plastic surgeries they have or how much of their nose is missing.

Personally, I think racism will always exist, even if not always directed to those that historically have been discriminated against because of their skin. In fact, I think that once white males become minority, they shall bear the brunt of racism.

Edit: and stop talking about that stupid child molestor, he does it all for attention anyway.

Racism is here and it will always be here. It will forever be passes on to the younger generation. The only way to stop that I think of is if we get attacked and damn near annihilated by aliens. They we will be too busy hating the aliens to hate other ppl because of stupid things like race.

That's pretty iffy. Racial groups may blam,e each other for attracting the aliens with their ethnic evil. People are just that malign.

Really I think a big part of it is education. Education is very important to teach others tolerance. We need it because ppl are misinformed most of the time. And they usually believe what their parents told them and what their parents parents said and so on. We need to correct this. I don't think it'll ever really disappear because if it's not one thing it's another. Other prejudices will arise because that's how people are.

Education wouldn't really help either. My brother and I are both liberal, and he was serving a conservative family in a restaurant. Apparently there is a 'real' history and a 'liberal' history. Although it has nothing to do with rascism, it proves that some people are willing to put their beliefs before flat fact.

FYI, said conservative family argued we Americans never hurt the native americans.

Yeah that's almost as bad as the ppl that say the Holocaust never happened. Some ppl will never change. That's why ppl need to be taught better values at an early age. I never see that happening though. Parents will teach their children what they want I guess. I really don't know what's wrong with ppl like that. Maybe it's spite, ignorance or denial because something has to be the cause.

That is true on many fronts, my friend. Unfortunately your average person has only around 100 IQ and they can easily convince themselves of anything they want to. In many southern states racism is the standard, especially in small towns. You'll see signs on restaurants or stores that say "No N*ggers". That is why the black community has such a problem with our politics most of the time, over half our politicians are from these southern states, and while they are not as open with their racism as this Hart guy... well let's just say, they never bothered to take any action towards removing the CONFEDERATE FLAG down from over their court houses. If that is not veiled racism, I don't know what is.

You didn't know, though? I mean look at tolerance.org, they have charts of all the racist groups out there.

I think if we want to eliminate racists, we have to make them think. As I have said before, arguing with people just doesn't work. You have to think beyond that. You have to do something you should yourself do--forget everything about your beliefs and everything, and just look at the situation from a 3rd, netural point of view. If every racist did this, and honestly, then I think the racists would stop existing. This, I think, works with arguments, too. People are so stubborn, but if you just look at yourself, maybe you are being absurd. And if you just change, people won't hate you anymore.

We have to continue to make racists feel like shit, because they are shit. They are scum. I think if they had to choose between a life as an outcast and a life as a normal person, they'd choose the latter.

I think getting the word out works too. If I ever form that band I want to form someday, I would hope that if I got famous, I would make it a point to get people to think about it. Famous people have more influence than they believe...
