Backstory:

The date is April 11, 2005. About six months ago a United States' weapon research team caused the end of the world. They summoned something hoping to tame it and use it as a weapon. All they did was open a very big hole to a hellish place where only nightmares reside. Sorely unprepared for what came out of the portal the many of the defending troops were cut down, many without firing a single shot in defense. However some managed to fight their ways to the surface and warn the world of the horrors that seek to devour their very souls.

This is their story.

I am hoping to spread this RP from the beginning of the incident to to the conclusion. This first part is all about the soldiers present during the incident that sparked the War of Souls. If you are interesed let me know, but please bear with me cause I am still new to this RPing on a forum.

All characterss are army personel or researchers. There are no limits to who can join at first but I want to limit joining mid game to a minimum. That isn't a no, its a we'll have to see. Depends on the situation ya know. If there are any questions, and I know there will be cause I'm more than likely fogeting something important, ask it.

If you want to join post a character and so I can approve it. I will tell you if your in.

Age: 34

Rank: Army Captain. Delta Force member

Weapons: M16 with M240 grenade launcher attachment, 9mm standard Army Pistol, Machete, Grenades

Equipment: Standard Kevlar Body Suit, NVG's/Thermal Goggles, Portable Ham Radio.

Appearance: 6'1", 236 pounds. With dark brown hair and green eyes, Vincent is very cheerful to allies and just as vicous to his enemies. He's a weightlifter and a runner, so he's in peak physical condition, and he's willing to do almost anything to win.

History: An ex-convict arrested for manslaughter, he was sent to the Army rather than prison, and some wonder whether he enjoys killing too much. As for him, he continues to carry out black ops for Delta Force, and now he's been assigned to guard duty at the research site.

I see no problems at all with your character Jaguar. :)

Equipment:Standard Field Medic Kit; Swiss Army Knive

Appearance/Personality: 6'3" 243 pounds, with brown hair and light blue eyes. A pacifist at heart Nick has never been to keen on death. Never fearing the possibility of losing his own life Nick bravely rushes to save his comrades in any situation. The one thing he cannot stand is to lose a fellow soldier. He is a very timid person but never fails to speak his mind if its important.

History: Born in small town in Texas, Nick was always picked on for being a small child. He found comfort at home though from his family. His father, a retired army veteran, and his mother, a local paramedic. Growing up hearing stories from both his parents he quickly decided he wanted to do both his parents jobs. Torn between both professions he came upon a compromise.

Gender: Male

Rank: Special Ops: Tech specialist

Weapons: Simple army pistol, Knife

Equipment: Tech specialist...stuff. Carries a backpack with him, full of computer and hacker gear.

Appearance: 6' Tall and 174 pounds Alex doesn't present the fiercest person you've ever set eyes on. And that's because he isn't. He has dark brown eyes and red hair, and fair skin covered in freckles. He isn't the strongest out there but get him onto a computer and he'll work magic.

History: Alex joined the military because of his exceptional skills in computers and hacking into them. He could get into and out of almost any system without being detected, most of them without breaking a sweat. He figured that his skills would be best used serving the military. When he joined however he found that it just wasn't as fun as in the field. He stuck with the military though, not wanting to back out of something he started (a trait he has which is sometimes good and sometimes bad), and eventually was deployed at the research base. There he has been helping with the many programs used by the researchers, upgrading the codes and making them more user friendly. He's been bored for about a week now, but he has a feeling that something big is about to happen. (I'm guessing by taking it from the beginning of the incident to the conclusion you mean that it's the day of, or soon to be the day of the incident)

Apperance: Darkhaired and brown eyed, a plain guy. Tall but not notcible. Can't really fight but he has a brain and can offer some good advice.

History: Born in Washington and showed good progress in School, his family wanted him to be an accountanct but he got in to Sandhurt, England and studied Milatry History there. Having seen the British army in action, he has become very critical of the American army. Spends a lot of time reserching in England, writing in magzines and apperaing on Tv a few times. Jioned this resarch so he could do something useful for once
