Trigun!! Quite possably the best.

Man! the first time i saw trigun i was floored! i bought the dvd's and watch it over and over again. i just hate finding flaws in it though...well, not really flaws, just parts i don't get, or lost in translation stuff... anyway.

one of the biggest things i don't get is what is meant when wolfwood asks vash what his "real name" is. can anyone out there help?? thanks.

I didn't really like Trigun at first, nothing really happened until quite a bit later, but now I'm hooked.

But that's beside the point... I'm not really sure, as I only get to see it once a week on Saturdays (Grrr), but to me it sounds like Vash the Stampede can't be the name he was given when he was a child.
Well, that's what I think, anyway.

Huge spoilers surround that one. But, he was virtually always known as Baashu/Vash...Za Sutanpiido/The Stampede moniker was attributed later due to his...destructive capabilities.

Eeew on Adult Swim? I used to watchit too until I bought the dvd and watched it subbed..I never went back..Waaah! doushite Wolfy-chan?! Wolfy-chan no baka!

Needless to say...Trigun was great and all...but the end left me empty inside... :(

Anime subs are almost always better than the dubs, and anime on tv is increadably diluted from the origional content.

Trigun was great, it had a lot of action with just enough goofyness to make it not *shoot-bleed-die* every 5 minutes of the series

Mr. Wind-Up Bird 11-19-2003 05:56 PM

I dunno. I've watched it a little bit, and I thought it was boring. Maybe it's because I just don't care much for anime in general. I can see, however, why someone would like it.

While I encourage you to watch Trigun and other Anime on TV as often as possible, I'd just like to point out that so long as you have a broadband connection and a few gigs of space free, TV is not the only way to get your anime fix.

GatoFiero 11-19-2003 08:17 PM

I didn't even have broadband when i started downloading my anime. I just set it to download at night and when i woke up it was ready to view. I just thought of it as like a daily tv show on my computer.....that was only 22 minutes long and had no commercials.
