I have the option of buying Fallout and Fallout 2 for $1.95. What's it mainly about?

BUY IT. It's a post-apocalyptic, innovative, clever RPG. If you've played Baldur's Gate, imagine that with an ability-point-based attack system. It's a very cool game. Get Fallout 1 as well.

Playing Neverwinter Nights. Any difference?

Oh, and that's both of them together for 1.95

It's turned based in battle, but definately BUY 'EM! It's one of the better RPG's out there..and let's face it, guns in an RPG kick ass.

While it's not pronounced, there is a definate "turn based" feel to NWN.

And yes, for $2, that's a great deal. If just to spot all the parodies in the games, it's a great deal.

I picked up Fallout 1 a while ago and I'm still having trouble getting into it. :( I really want to love playing the game, but I might just be too damned spoiled with all my modern games. I'll need to be giving it a few more run-throughs eventually here.

Buy it, for the love of god! Fallout 1 is great, but Fallout 2 is definatly much better; although you'll probably be kind of lost if you don't have knowledge of the first game.

and Kefka: you're out of the 8-bit Supergroup if you don't finish at least one of the Fallouts.

Im incredulous as to where you found Fallout 1+2 for 2$. I can barely find both games for 10 dollars each on ebay.

Borrowed Fallout brotherhood of steel from a friend. I loved it. It's truly an awesome game.

Never played other's but i loved it.

Figure, you have around 6 MAIN stat's to place stuf in, Str,agi,int Etc. Then you have around 20 differnt "mini skills" to place points into. Such as small arms, hvy arms, medic, surgery, explosive's, stealing, which'll make you better with those kind's of weapons or activites.

Then on top of that, you'll get my favorite thing known as "perk's", special "traits" basiacly that you can aquire. Such as, fast shooter, double handed, quick hands, outdoor person, bad luck, night time person, or my personal favorite...one that make's it so people die in the groteste way possible when around you (picture of guy with like peashooter shooting guy and him being blown apart)

Put all these stat quilities into your guy or girl, then grab a rifle, pistol, stick, grenade, mine, crowbar, axe, club, etc. and head out into a zombie infested, mutant crawling, animal swarming post apocalyptic world of death with a group of 4.

Vital point's count ALOT when shooting sum1, like say for example if you tell a sniper to aim for eye's, you can blind a enemy, you get shot in leg or something, and your char will limp untill seen by a docter.

It's fun as hell lets leave it at that.
