"Wow. Orcs, goblins, trolls, and asswipes? And you want us to take this down!?"
Alec sighed, and ran his hands through his hair. He scowled slightly as how silky smooth it felt. That meant it was still partially shiny. Shiny meant light. Light meant discovery. Discovery meant death. "Well, I'm all for taking the bandits. The catch will be on how to properly dispose of such a large number." |
"I have no clue. First it was the bandits, and now it's the orcs. I'm confused as hell right now," he whispered back. "And show me that thing once we start moving."
|
"...Is it just me, or does anyone ELSE have a bad feeling about all this?" Sarin groaned, muttering. "I go out to avenge the loss of my people and find practically a war waiting for me." He turned to everyone else. "I think the orcs know what's going on." He sighed. "That takes dumb away from their list of qualities I had going."
|
OOC: You know, I am starting to get a little annoyed with no one responding to anything I'm doing.
Litheril looks up at Alec and replies, "It's simple, you dispose of them one at a time. They're bandits - they only move in small groups, large groups are too noticable. I do think the orcs know something though..." Just as quickly as he had spoken, Litheril goes silent again. |
OOC: Arhra, all you've done is say that you're ready to leave and then propose a way to kill bandits. Only DB or SAAM can move the story from here. If you actually talked to someone in particular instead of just saying general stuff, like how Gug and Jerrick are talking, then you'd get responded to. As is, you're just making general questions that only two people can answer when the plot moves.

Gabriel glowered after hearing the news of Kirii's disappearance.
"The bandits are of no concern to us; they were meant as a test of our abilites, and a riddance to a slight annoyance. This changes everything." He turned to Gwaethir. "Direct action is needed my Lord." |
OOC: so those were Judas's boobies I was shouting about???
[edit] Warmage....there are no castle gates per se, and you couldn't "walk up" to them. The Avariel live on a big, metal disk floating in the sky, and Gwaethir lives in a palace, but it just has big doors......no gates, see? IC:Hakar nodded, "He's right....we can't let Antarrak use her as a hostage, and we can't let her be hurt at the hands of the orcs." Gwaethir's eyes narrowed, "I already know that! You don't think that I feel the exact same way?! The problem is, the wrong sort of 'direct action' could make us fail in our mission to save her, and perhaps could even get her killed." he sighed, his shoulders and wings slumping, and said quietly, "The troops need to see me with them, and the people will not want their king racing off to rescue hostages, no matter how dear they are to me and to them......bandits are less important. It is up to you, the new generation of heroes, to rescue her...and perhaps to save us all. I wish you the best of luck, my friends." the King of the Avariel looked at the severed head in his hand, dropped it to the floor, and walked towards the door, followed by his guards. As he passed by Alec, he turned and said conversationally, "Take a bath, there will be PLENTY of time to coat yourself in mud once you're on the ground, and you're getting my floors muddy." with that final remark...Gwaethir Swiftclaw exited the chamber. |
OOC: Given permission by Dragonsbane to join the RP, my eleven character arrived late, after the initial meeting. SAAM, my character needs to speak directly with Jericho so he can know what's going on.
Quick stats: Age: 98 (looks about 20) Element: Earth Hieght: 5'3" Weight: 110 lbs. Weapon: Evil's Bane - An Obsidian Mace that does more damage against those with evil hearts, while doing less to those filled with goodness and purity. Armor - A simple mithril vest with a tint of green. A gift from his father for protection. Metrius' full character sheet is in the discurrion thread. IC: Sitting in this pristine place, Metrius wondered if this was a good idea. He had wanted revenge on the orcs, and their mastermind, but with the help of others? No, he wanted to do this on his own, to feel the senstation of his own hands choking the life out of the orcs, as they had done to his own family. But, then again, seeing as how the orcs had slaughtered the wild elves' village, he would probably need the others to get his revenge. Metrius got up and started pacing back and forth impatiently. Where is he? Metrius thought to himself. That Avariel said that 'Master Jericho would be here soon, but this isn't soon. Oh, well, it's not like I can just leave this place. We are high in the air after all. Metrius had to admit, he felt uncomfortable this far away from the earth. He longed to get back to solid ground, where he felt most at home. |
"Great...I was positive I couldn't handle bandits, now we have to rescue people from super orcs..."
|
OOC: They didn't slaughter them all. The bandit camps are numerous and spread out amongst the Gorlash area. The Drow massacred one of the many camps.
One more thing. Now that my school has started, I'll only be able to post on Fridays, weekends, and holidays, so expect to not see me as often. |
