One of the SWAT members started squirming and squeezing her thighs together. Devin groaned.
"Toilet break?" "Mmmph-" "Twice for yes, once for no." "Mmmph mmmph!" Devin sighed. Good thing Kaitlin was around. "This one's for you. Don't let her open her mouth, stay ten feet away from her at - oh, fuck it, you know what to do, you're not an idiot." As Kaitlin helped the SWAT girl up, Devin looked outside. Riker's prison looked abck at him, an ugly, inverted tooth silhouetted agaisnt the clouded sjy. Please be alright, guys... |

Wraith put his hand to his face and shook his head in it. This was either ridiculous or dangerous, with the SWAT girl's bathroom break. He sighed as he stood, then went over to the SWAT team and crossed his arms, looking down at them with a big smile on his face. "So guys, how's security 'round here these days? I hear some real pros snuck up in here not too long ago." "Mmmk oooo," was all the response he got back from the sergeant. Wraith laughed at him quietly and sat down in a chair nearby. "Now you just hold on tight 'til the little miss gets back, then ya'll can take a nice long nap." |
Monk was filled with a feeling of bliss, of relief.
Of pain. Jade was what you could call a mess. He face was covered in little cuts and her hair was everywhere. There was a tattered bandage over her left upper arm covering what looked like a large gash and there were various bruises all over her body. He rushed to the glass case and opened up the cell where she had been locked. Her personal hell hole. As soon as the door creaked its way open, he rushed back in and wrapped his arms as tightly as he could around her, "Oh My God Jade... What have they done to you?" Tears streamed down Jade's cheecks as she embraced Monk. "I'm sorry, I didn't get a chance to fix my hair... What are you doing here? If the guards find you, they'll kill you on the spot." He couldn't help but force a smile off his face. "Don't say that Jade... you're beautiful just the way you are..." He pulled off for a second. "That's the thing... no one's around. You're right, if then guards did see me, they would kill me, but..." He grinned, "I'm only a myth, they can't find me..." "I did leave for parts unknown... unknown to all of you, and to myself. It was so lonely there Jade. I was all alone for so long. I was lucky that Wolf came when he did, I was just about to be greeted by death." He lowered his head. "Actually... I was greeted by him. Jade... I have died. It was death that made me realize how important life really is! How friends are important..." He took her hands in his, "How you are important... So very... important to me." Jade blushed a little, but quickly turned away. "I know we're in this moment right now, and you have no idea how I want to tell you everything about my feelings, but I'd like to get out of here if possible. As un-Monk like this is, did you by any chance bring backup?" He grinned, "You think after that speech about friends, I'd come alone?" He hander her the PDAP given to him at the start of the mission. "Wolf said to give this to you as soon as I found you. You now have radio comm with the outside world." He popped his head out of the cell, and gave a worried look. "There is still no one out there... Where is everyone?" Jade almost hugged her PDAP. "They should be changing the guard soon so we should move now." With new energy now in her body Jade could feel her nanos click on after all this time. "Much better..." She flipped on her PDA, "Hey dog-boy ((to Wolf)), you'd better have brought me a gun. I can't come to the party without a present." She turned to Monk, remind me that we need to have a good quality talk when we get out of here." Monk grinned, "Noted... Come on!" He grabbed her hand, paused, took a breath with a smile and headed out of the cage. Jade was almost dragged off by Monk out of the cell. "Monk, do you know where we're going?" "Of course. I got here in one piece, didn't I?" He turned and grinned lightly. "I got to see some interesting sights along the way..." "I know this isn't the best time, but I almost thought you woudn't come for me. You were so angry when I got shipped off, I thought you'd repress into the darkness forever." Monk creaked open the door that lead into the main hallway, and saw two guards walking by. Closing it lightly, he turned to Jade. "I'm... sorry for that." "It doesn't matter anymore, you're here and I'm almost free. Not only that, but I'm in the mood for some ass kicking." "Not in that condition. It looks like you've seen your fair share." He creaked the door open again and counted three to himself. "Hold here for a minute..." And with that, he was gone behind the door. Jade rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms and waited. "Boys..." Monk pushed the open from the other side. "All clear... let's get out of here. The guards will be out for a few hours. All we have now is another hallway, and we'll be outside in the playground. Then all we have to do is get you over the wall... in the boat... then we'll be free..." "Gee if it was that easy, I would have been gone a while ago." Monk looked her over, gave her an eyebrow and opened the door for her without passing a word. As they made their way down the long corridor, one of the many arbitrary doors opened and ten guards stepped out with their weapons drawn. "Told you.." Monk grinned, "That's it? You think you can stop a myth with just 10 guys?" He grabbed Jade and dove into a closet and pulled out the black case. Pulling out a pill he tossed it into the other room and slammed the door shut. Within moments, the two heard spewing of lunches with the sounds of screaming of blindness and other such obsenities. Monk stuck out his index and middle finer out, curling in the rest of them, "I win." "Aren't I?" He waited another few moments as he stuck his head out, all the guards either passed out, or twitching violently on the ground. "Ew... that can't be good." He thought over what just happened. "They are on high alert, knowing them, they are going to flood the easy hallway and the playground." He pulled out the now crumpled paper and inspected it. "According to this... we can take the door to our right, pass three rooms and head for sometime to a door leading to the outside?" He twisted the paper about itself, "Or is that...?" "You never were really good with directions were you?" Jade looked over Monk's shoulder at the map. "If we go into the right door, we need to go down 6 doors and we'll make it outside. Before we go though..." Jade parted her lips and pressed hers to Monk's mouth. They stayed like that for a little while until Jade slowly pulled away. "Thanks for rescuing me." Monk's eyes slowly open after the shock of his latest attack. "No... problem..." He however didn't move from that spot, still frozen in time and space. He snapped back into life, "Huh, wha?" She gave him a look, some kind of look, "Oh right! We still have to get out of here!" Monk got up and poked his head out, smiling now that Jade couldn't see him. She kissed me... I love that... Stepping into the hallway he paused just as Jade made her way out. "Careful of the dirty spots..." A squishy noise resounded under Jade's foot. "Oh gross, I just washed these boots." He shuddered as he opened the door nearest him, the new route. Inside was some sort of medical lab. There were several beds arranged in the room, but none of them occupied. Inside however were three guards, one sitting on the bed the other two milling about. "Jade... take a look at this." Jade peeked through the door and turned to Monk, "you stay now." She crept into the room up behind the one on the bed and snapped his neck. The other guards saw her but the first was downed with a punch to the jaw and the other with a roundhouse kick, all before they could pick up their guns. "I learned a few tricks from you." |
OOC: Double posting... get over it.
"I can tell from the fighting style. Apparently you like my Hapikido stance..." "It works, we should prolly get going before more of these guys come to dance." "Right... you lead the way." Monk lowered his head. "I couldn't find my way out of a paper bag if you told me how to..." Jade took the lead and sprinted down the hallway with Monk close behind. As they neared the end of the hall, a figure came into view. It was the interrogation Seargent, the one who had made Jade's life a living hell for the past three months. "Ah, I see our favorite maggot got out of her cage, we'll have to put a stop to that." Jade recoiled a little as he advanced on her. The man had only put fear and pain into her life for the past three months and now he was trying to put it back again. Monk made sure to crak his knuckles a little extra loud for him. "Hey... I see that someone just called her a maggot, said she lived in a cage, and is going to try and stop her from getting out of here..." He stepped in front of the behemoth of a man. "I'm not going to let you lay one more finger on this woman." "Oh yeah? And what are you going to do about it?" Monk smiled. "For every wound that you've inflicted on her… I’m going to repay the favor ten fold.” The guard opened his arms wide, taking a sort of wrestling stance. “Please… I’ve taken on men double my size and caused them to cry off for their mommies!” “I am half your size…” He took a few steps towards the aggressor, “And I don’t cry…” “You are going to regret saying those words, boy!” He pulled back his right arm and shoved it into Monk’s face. Monk didn’t move, he didn’t flinch, he didn’t anything. Monk just stood there and frowned. “What? Is that it?” The guard looked shocked. “You hit like that of a young school girl…” He took a stance and looked over his shoulder. “Jade… you should take notes. For this battle, I shall be using the Hapikido stance.” He began to sway in place taunting the behemoth with his front hand while flexing a fist in the other. “A lesson!? I’ll teach you a thing or two, boy!” Bringing his left arm back and going for a sucker punch to the stomach. Again, Monk made no move to block or evade. He took the blow full force and didn’t budge. “Wha? How is this possible?” “I learn from the best… and he was half my size… and much older than I. Now… as for the lesson.” He swung his right arm up over his shoulder and upside the guard’s head, snapping it sideways. “The right hand swing, very powerful.” The guard twisted around for a bit, then fell to the ground, the floor shaking slightly. “Aw… and I wanted to hit him some more… Ruin my fun why don’t you…?” He brought back a leg to punt the downed man but stopped. Why am I going to attack this man while he is down" I have already won this battle... He took a step back and shook his head. "Monk....I....thank you so much. You have no idea..." She just embraced him tightly. "He...made my life...unbearable." He could feel his leg twitching again. Son of a... He has to pay... Even with Jade's embrace, an uncontrollable anger seemed to brew within him. "Come on, let's get out of here." Monk said nothing as he went with Jade out of Hell... and hopefully... off of Riker's island. |
Angel was lying down on the roof, monitoring the whole operation.
Something was wrong. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he just knew that something was going to go wrong. "Monk, if you want a quick way out I can take a jump down by the window, then you guys can grab onto my line to get to the bottom. It'll be faster, and I'll get to break a window. I've always wanted to do the swing thing and smash through a window, did you know that? Ever since I w-" There was a click as Monk deactivated the comm to Angel. Angel hmphed, then made sure he was good to go at any signal what-so-ever. Momentarily he stuck his hand up, and waved so Wolf would see it. Then he dropped it and resumed his waiting. |
Angel didn't know it, but Wolf also felt that something was way too easy about this.
I know Beowulf said that they'd be delayed by an hour...but since when has everything gone entirely right? he thought. I mean, Jade's free...sort of...but something still isn't sitting right here... Then he heard it. Although it was quiet, it was the unmistakeable noise of helicopter rotors. By the noise...they're stealth choppers...at least 3...but what the hell are they doing here? He got his answer in just a few scant seconds. A trio of flat cracks echoed across the open air, and Wolf saw 3 guards patrolling the courtyard keel over from headshots. SHIT! They're early! Wolf thought as he saw the three choppers touch down at the spot where the guards fell and began debarking Death Guard soldiers. Wolf immediately contacted Devin, Kaitlin, and Wraith. "Somethings gone wrong. The enemy is here ahead of schedule. I mark at least 40 Death Guard. With security the way it is, they won't stand a chance. I'm going in to get Monk and Jade out. You three get on site in the Phantom and secure an LZ for us to get the hell out of here." Wolf then contacted Angel. "Angel, by now you've probably seen what I've seen. Give me some covering fire, I'm going in." signing off, Wolf tried to contact Jade, but all he got was static. They're jamming my comms? Damn it! he thought. There has to be another way to get her poistion...wait...yeah! Wolf activated his PDAP and started searching for the GPS signals of Cyber Force members in the area in and around the prison. Sure enough, Jade's tracking signal lit up on the screen within the Rose M. Singer center. He was just about to gho when he noticed a second GPS contact...one that should not have been anywhere near the prison at all. What the...how is that possible...no... Wolf took a quick look through the scope of the KI-550 and saw what he had hoped was not possible. But it was. Standing in the midst of the Death Guard, shouting orders and wearing a dark red MM General's uniform...was General Kreish. NO!!! He's supposed to be dead! Wolf thought as he lined up the general in his sights and fired. However, somehow, a Death Guard soldier intersected the bullet and died instead of Kreish. The shot also called Wolf to the Death Guard's attention, and they began to scatter and fire at the tower. Wolf slid down the ladder and began running, evading thier fire while returning some of his own. Taking cover behind a gatehouse, Wolf switched all his ammo, save for that in his .45, for lethal ammunition. He then took a peek just in time to see Kreish and 5 Death Guard head into the building where Jade and Monk were. You're not escaping your death that easy... Wolf said as he emerged from cover, firing the laptop gun on full auto, cutting down numerous Death Guard. As he reached the door, a Riker's security guard tried to stop his advance. Wolf simply drew his .45 and put a taser round in the guard's shin. "It's not your day to die..." he said as he stepped past the fallen guard, pausing only to note the name on the tag...Rick Bannon Well...hopefully the taser wound will be all he gets tonight Wolf thought as he headed into the prison. *** Halfway to reaching Jade, Wolf nearly lost his life when he realized the 5 Death Guard that had followed Kreish set up an ambush in an effort to terminate him. Wolf barely had time to react, and he took a bullet through his right thigh, sending him into a sprawl. Still, his instincts and training weren't about to fail him yet. He rolled with the fall, and came up shooting the laptop gun from the hip. Two Death Guard fell from his assault, while the other two dove for cover. Wolf slung the laptop gun over his shoulder and drew his katana and Omni-Falcon. He leapt at the Death guard, hacking and shooting through them, the last he felled with a coup-de-grace bullet and stab combo to the head. Although the wound in his leg burned, he knew he couldn't stop now. So he pressed on, coming closer and closer to the signal. With the TMP-75 drawn, he rounded to corner and ran into...General Kreish. OOC: Forces of evil make this a two-parter...stay tuned. |
Angel yanked a jet-black ski mask out of his pocket, and put it on. He then rolled the sleeves on his shirt down, making him perfectly black. He slipped the glasses on, and his thermal vision.
Not wasting time, he swapped the clips in his G36 to normal steel-jacket rounds then crawled over to a building side. He levelled his gun at one of the disembarking Death Guard, and took the safety off, then briefly double checked through the lense scope (No tube around it) to make sure he was on target. He exhaled, and pulled the trigger. The first Death Guard's head snapped straight back, and he collapsed. Angel dropped, and rolled farther away before crawling back a bit, and getting some cover for his next shot. After he fired, a bullet whipped off halfway between his position and where he'd gone. Seeing they had snipers, he yanked the ski mask off and rolled his sleeves back up. Frantically, he checked his PDAP for signals. Jade and Monk were going to be passing by a window in about 15 seconds. Not wasting time, he stood and sprayed fire down on the troops that posed an immediate threat to Wolf, either cutting them down or giving them the impression of being pinned. Not wanting to risk bothering Wolf, Angel patched a line to Wraith. Mercifully, it wasn't jammed to completion. "Wraith, this is Angel. Wolf's occupied, so I'm asking for permission to enter the building and secure Monk and Jade." What Wraith heard was "Wraith--is is Ange--olf's occupied,--'m asking for p---mission to enter the b-----and secure Monk----ade. |
"why can't some people have the decency to stay dead." Coyote said under his breath as he kept the security system busy.

OOC: SS just letting you know, Rikers is made of stone. Being all black would prolly bring more attention to yourself than you want.
I'll have my post up after Wolf's second part. |

He spoke without thinking as he strapped himself in. "Situation normal, all FUBAR... good thing we have live rounds instead of some shitty-ass taser bullets..." |
