I am not an artist.
One time I was looking at a really cool drawing someone did, and I thought "damn, I wish I could draw"
I didn't have time to take art classes, I was a senior in hight school, Everyone who wanted to draw was already a billion times better than me
My next thought was "oh well, I guess I will just have to spend my points differently next time..."

just now, looking back a year, that thought scares the hell out of me.

You, unlike red mage, can buy some pencils, pens, and paper, and then practice until you get skill points.

I realize I can do such a thing, but my thought process threw me for a loop.

I understand what you mean. When suddenly you start thinking a character's thoughts instead of your own out of the blue, it can certaintly surprise you.

That's because you have a nerd class (one of the few class types able to see the world in all it's d20 goodness, or badness.) Don't know which one but i'm a general nerdboy, no powers but lots of skill points that have to be spend in knowledges relating to nerd things. I chose: webcomics, anime, computer games, and computers.
