i know that the show is aiming at a younger audience then me, but i still love it. Let me refrase that, i like the first season and it went down hill from there, i cant even watch the show anymore. But i still remember the great first session, Devimon, Piedmon, Angamon. what a great show.

I love that show!!!! It was well done by my standards! One of my favorite Digimon was Gatomon!

I loved the first season of that show! I can't remember any of their names, but I liked the T-Rex looking one.

Gotta say it, Digimon season was all that and a bag of chips. My favorite Digimon was probably Patomon, along with all of his other forms.

Ah yes, the first season was great, but, as said, it went downill after that. As for my favorite digimon... I don't really remember enough to pick a favorite, so I'll have to think on that one.

I liked Digimon when it was new, and I was in sixth grade, but it doesn't really hold up too well whenever I look back. First season Power Rangers is much better.

But anyway, I remember thinking that the whole Gatomon thing was kinda stupid (weakest thing ever suddenly can become the most powerful things? And the fact that they would only do it like once a year didn't fool me, that was there Dues Ex Machina). I liked the nerdy kid, Izzy?, and his bug guy. And even as a naive 11 year old I realized the formula, namely, one episode to get together/get seperated, followed by about ten episodes that served only to show [blanks] newest Digivolution form, then after everyone except Gatomon got a new form, they fought the big baddy, who only Gatomon would defeat cuz he was powered by love or whatever, then after they killed he baddy a new bigger badder guy would appear to inform them that HE had been controlling everything, then they would get seperated.

I stopped after they killed the clown guy, and then the huge machine thing that had been controlling the clown guy.

I've seen 3 of the 4 US aired seasons of Digimon. The first one with the 8 kids, the follow up of that with the two young kids form the original 8 and 3 new ones, then I skipped the next one with the three kids, then watched the fourth one with 5 kids who turned into digimon.

First season, Patamon (I'm pretty sure that's the Dues Ex Machina Digimon MLA meant) was my favorite, because Angemon was my favorite. Only the first big bad guy (Devimon I think) was where Angemon was the only one to kill it, every other time it was the idiotic, 'main', "Friendship and goodness always win" annoying character with the googles and his digimon that suddenly evolved and beat up the bad guys (As well as the guy with the wolf, but I liked him since he was an anti-hero, though his angsty was annoying). And Izzy was good. I couldn't stand the annoying geek kid.

Second season was boring, and I only watched it since I was still young and I had seen the entire first season, so I was curious and wanted to see how it ended. It was basically the first season, but less people, and they tried throwing in romance with the 12 year olds.

Third season I had grown out of it and was bored with it.

Fourth season I watched since nothing else was on and curiousity forced me to watch it. It was even worse with the 'freindship and goodness always win' crap. The only character I liked was the wolf guy again (The little ice kid got way to annoying at times). Though once the wolf guy's twin become a character, it ruined him. I couldn't stand the fat kid.

And that pretty much sums up my opinions too. The first season was semi-good, the rest was crap. Bleh. Especially the one where people became digimon. Jeez, that's just retarded.

I've watched only a few of the first season and half of the season where the kids become Digimon. I should have paid more attention to the 1st rather than looking at Pokemon (at the time).

I think that Digimon (the first season) still holds up to some of the anime of today (like Yugioh). But, like everyone else, I think that everything except for the first season was crap. They should have stopped while they were ahead.
