Dain hasn't really demonstrated much personality, of any sort of character development whatsoever. Until he does so, he will remain devoid of Mind powers. If you can't develop your character without having incredibly-uber powers, then learn how.

In short, IHMN, Mind powers are a privilege, not a right...and until your character becomes more active in the RP, he won't be given that privilege.

[edit] Just as long as Laine doesn't start underage drinking, his former absence won't become a problem.

Sure, I had some time before I was banned, but when I did post they got ignored (Later deleted since it seemed pointless to keep them there).

you weren't ignored, you just didn't fit in what you were doing with what was going on, and didn't make your events strong enough for others to pay attention to them. You want recognition in an RP, then you Roleplay, for Chrissake! Make it a fully-dimensional character instead of just a flat, angsty teen who gets offended WAY too easily and tries talking down to the ruler of his city...or whatever you did, no one remembers well because it WASN'T MEMORABLE! RPing is an art, not just an excuse to do godmoddy things you could never do in real life. Deleting your posts was also unneccessary, you could have just edited them.

well....delivering that little speech makes me feel better, so I'll sum this up quickly. Well-RPed characters are more likely to be approved for Mind magic. I know you had an excuse, since you were banned, but I'm not going to pretend that your excuseable absence of posts is equivalent to writing good posts, the requirement for Mind magic. You start posting again, and we'll see.

high, I see no logical way your character can be added into this RP. He is an old man, they are on a very important mission. You don't just take old men along with you to save princesses from drow assassins.
