"Damn man, you're off to a pretty lousy day already..." he answers, leaning over and taking out his keycard. "'Ere ya go. Sorry 'bout that."

After deliviering his video to the UN, Wolf picked up his PDAP, and noticed that his mailbox was rather filled up. Skimming through the messages, he noiticed that they were all from his friends in the intel and counterterror community that he had worked with in the past. Most of them were apologizing for running investigations against him, some of them were congratulating him on a job well done, others even offered their guesses as to where he actually was now. Nobody came close though, which put Wolf oddly at peace. After responding to the emails, he realized that he hadn't eaten in over twelve hours.
Well, breakfast is still being served... he thought as he headed down to the mess hall. On the way there he ran into Kaitlin. "Have you seen the news?" she asked him. "Hell, I created the news." Wolf said with a grin. "I'm guessing Jade's officially off the hook and back in action?" "Not only that, but we're all now in the clear as to you shooting Kreish the first time...and Angel and Wraith tag-teaming the XO." "Well, that's good to hear." Wolf said as they entered the mess hall. After getting their food, they sat down with Angel and Wraith. Wolf noticed Angel's unusual attire...and it took every effort of his to resist making an 80s related comment. That, and the fact that Angel looked like he was about ready to kill someone. Of course...he DOES have that funeral to go to. Better not add any more bricks to the load. He's pretty lucky I've got nothing planned today. He turned to Wraith. "So...did you learn anything through your all-night surveilance of the girl?" he asked him. |
Wraith looks back at him for a long moment, then looks down and laughs at the same time, almost nervously. "Uhh, yes, actually, I learned a lot..."
|
Devin walked in behind them, twirling a strange-looking pistol sround in his hands, getting a feel for the weapon's balance and weight. Obviously he wasn't stupid enough to load the weapon while doing this, and most of his manipulatiions were how it went in and out of the stealth holster he had by his side.
He didn't particularly care who was watching. |
OOC: For the sake of keeping the conversation alive, I'm not going to notice Devin JUST yet.
BIC: Wolf nodded slightly. "Ok...well, I have just a few questions I'm hoping you might have learned the answers to. First off, did you get her name yet? Secondly, what is she exactly? And thirdly...are there any more like her...and how many if the answer is yes?" Then he noticed the bandanna. "And...where exactly did you get the bandanna?" |
He reaches up and feels the bandana with a chuckle. "Oh, she made it for me."
He sees Wolf's eyebrow shoot up, to which he shrugs. "It's a... present to me, from her. Scrya. That's her name. And for everything else..." He proceeds to tell him everything he can remember... about how she got where she was, her "family" in the Order, about the prison and her time in Mastermind's cells and her training... after a while of this, he yawns widely and rubs his forehead, feeling the aftereffects of the drinking binge finally. |
"Aw, Wraith has a crush."
There was an odd silence. "Hey, someone had to say it." Another odd silence. "Yes, I'm wearing a freaking pink shirt. Wanna' comment." Another silence. Angel dropped his coffee again, and yelped. Again. |
Wraith looks at Angel funny right up until he spills his coffee, then scoots his chair back a bit to avoid the liquid swimming around on the floor.
|
Angel glared at the coffee cup.
It seemed to gaze back up at him. He glared harder. It gazed back more. Angel pulled out his gun and shot it. Everyone was surprised by the sudden noise. There was a click as the safety went back on. "That felt WAY too good." |
"I can imagine..." o_O
