On hurricane Ivan

Being from a rather large city near the gulf coast of Texas I have seen my fair share of hurricanes. Lemme tell you people who don't know, it sucks. Power goes out, people get hurt, streets are flooded, houses are flooded. It's an altogether not-fun event. I know that the Nuklear Power gang live in Florida, and that Florida has seen more than enough hurricanes lately. That being the case my heartfelt wish for you guys is that it shifts to us instead of you. Ivan is shaping up to be pretty bad (Honestly, what did you expect from a hurricane named Ivan? Anything named Ivan is bound to mess something up. Ex. Ivan the Horrible/Terrible or whatever) and I know that things are rough for Florida right now. So in an unprecedented act of kindness I am going to attempt to control the weather to bring the hurricane here. Don't be angry if it doesn't work... i'm a busy girl.

That aside, good luck to you guys.

I know of a guy that lives in Melbourne, FL. and LOVES hurricanes. Something about the "mass destruction, chaos, and death" that just gives him a friggin' hardon every time. I think he is a lot like BM. :bmage:

I'm seriously considering moving away from this hurricane magnet of a state after I get done with school.

Foamy 09-09-2004 06:32 PM

At least to beat the cabin feaver you aren't seeing anyone making a metal glider and getting a long high tension cable to try surffing the Hurricane's air currents.

Projected path has Ivan's eye passing over my house at a Category 4-5

Bob The Mercenary 09-10-2004 10:42 AM

I have some plywood leftover from when the last noreaster collapsed my shed. :)

Either get out of there or make sure everything's bolted down. I'm hoping the best for you.
