Why is stupidity so funny?
 

Please tell, because I have absolutely no clue why I'm smiling at this blog.

You're smiling because it's amusing.

"stupidity" is a radical departure from accepted norms. Something unexpected typically elicits a greater response than one which is anticipated, and an unexpected occurence which can be taken in a comedic view might be considered funnier than a similar occurence wich follows societal expectations.

eihter that or stupid things are just funny, no need to dice it up all crazy like.

this really makes me think though, why the hell don't I have a blog? I'm pretty sure I could do something a bit more meaningful than that. Then again, I don't speak cat so, I guess it could be some sort of treatise on advanced mathematics, but still.

expected to be serious. As kids, we did stupid things because they were fun to do and to see something so inane is a throwback to our more carefree days. Those who cannot accept the humor in stupid images and anecdotes take life too seriously and don't see what stupidity can do to enrich their lives. You can't appreciate light without dark, hot without cold, or intelligence without stupidity.
