ooc: I resent that comment! I won't go into detail though... :B
The conversation was cut short by an incredible explosion. The which had not been dealt with having served its purpose. The helpless wounded man on the ground was shredded by the shrapnel, while the bar took the brunt of the effect. Their cover now devastated, the two had more pressing concerns than exposure. The gunfire resumed again, this time seemingly concentrated on the bar. Theb destroyed slab of wood wouldn't hold out much longer... |
"So, you wanna go with a full on assault or create a diversion and run like chickens?" Why the hell do they want us dead?! She begins preparing for an all out attack, she knows that Umbra won't want to run.

Annoral closes his eyes, then whispers, "Stay down, you won't want to see this." With that he pulls off his shirt and and takes a deep breath. His skin begins glowing slightly, then shifting constantly between every visible color. His back stretches, bones sprouting from his shoulders before being covered with black feathers, and a demons tail snakes out behind him. He hisses softly, then stands, gesturing towards them. The guns are ripped from their hands, crashing to the floor and breaking into pieces. It then leaps into the air, swooping down and cutting the first soldier in half with it's sword. Lifting the two halves with his mind, he lights them on fire, throwing them into the other soldiers. The other soldiers feel their bones splinter from the psychic onslought. Annoral laughs grimly, conducting a silent orchestra of death.

Fae closes her eyes tightly but she can't resist her curiosity. So, she peeks out from behind a hole in the ramaining bar. The first and only thing she sees is the demon from the alley that had turned into Umbra. Whispering, "Wow, that is amazing." She keeps staring at him until the screams of the men finally peirce the clod of pheremones that was shrouding her thoughts. Oh shit, I need to get out of here! She jumps up and bolts for the back door.

Gunfire began pounding into Annoral's demonic form. The energy blasts were insufficient to pierce his skin. An RPG rocketed towards him, only to be stopped in id air by his mind. It stood, frozen in space for several seconds. The gunfire stopped and men began to run for their lives. The fuse on the missile detonated the explosive head, and the fire coalesced around Annoral. The superheated air blowing in his face like a desert breeze.

It stares into emptiness a moment longer, then turns back to the bar. Seeing the girl fleeing, it focuses it's minds toward the alcohol strewn throughout the wreckage. The liquid ignites, fanned by psionic winds, and spreads. Soon the building is engulfed in flame, as it calmly walks out the back door, the duffle bag out of place slung over it's shoulder, and looking for the other one.
|
ooc: other one what?
Oh shit!!! Did I do that?! Noooo, it wasn't me it was..... Shit!!!!!! Fae runs out the door and goes around to the side of the building. She comes to the corner and peeks around to the front of the burning bar. She stares at Umbra as he, or It, walks out to confront the men who shot at them. |
ooc: other one being you.
IC: It stares at the fleeing men, the twitchs slightly as several small metal pins come flying towards him. About five seconds more pass, before several explosions rip through the street, shrapnal flying into buildings and civilians alike as their grenades detonate from their hips. It slumps forward slightly, then shimmers, the wings drawing back into it, the tail snaking upward, and then once again Annoral. He leans heavily on his sword, breathing in quick gasps, "Sorry, I think you're out of a job." |
"Oh god!! Umbra!!!" She runs toward him almost coming to tears after the sights she's seen. "No, no it's okay I hated that job anyways. Come on," She tries to pick him up," Lean on me, let's get out of here before anyone else comes." Fae starts trying to drag him down the street looking for an alley to hide in or anyplace to hide for that matter.
|
Annoral straightens a little, then places his arm around her shoulder, "I told you not to look. I don't think anyone will be coming for a while, and neither of us is suspicious." He takes a few more steps, then shakes his head, "damnit, I left my shirt in there. Guess we both get a good view then."
