This is that forum for those game things you can't understand. I don't mean graphical issues or bugs, but rather storyline or items that make no sense. Here's mine so far.

Why is it that in Castlevania you keep collecting gold pieces, but the gold coin is always worth 100 gold pieces? Isn't that kind of an oxymoron? And why is the copper piece worth one gold piece?

Is it me, or does it seem like half the advertisements or expansions for Everquest have Firiona Vie on there, even though she's probably the least important character in the whole game?

In Zelda 64 and Majora's Mask, why is it he has to be adult to use the shortbow when in Majora's Mask he's suddenly able to use one? And why does Gannon look like a pig? And why is it that in all of the zeldas you just see Link save Zelda and the day and...that's it...no marriage? Nothing?

And the best one of all time....

Why doesn't superman, ala Superman 64 kill himself?

Why is it that Auron had that everpresent jug of sake, yet never actually drank it?

How come it never occurs to the heroes to shoot the villains in the face during their long-winded speeches?

Why is it that, even in Armored Core 3, an AC-mounted machine gun makes noises like a Space Blaster(TM) instead of an actual machine gun?

And of course, the answers will spawn more questions...

How come the villians never shot the heroes in the face during their speeches, or when they have them captured?

How come the heroes and the mindless beasts they're fighting have the common courtesy to take turns kicking each other in the balls in RPGs?

How come thousands of monsters attack the heroes in small groups, over long periods of time?

How come the monsters never chase the heroes when they run away?

Why don't people bleed when I stab them in Soul Calibur II?

Where did Link get grown-up clothes after he enters the Temple of Time and grows up in the Ocarina of Time?

Why does it hurt more in SSBM when Pickachu headbutts me than when Marth stabs me?

why is it that no matter what sort of damage that you do to someone, thier cloths never rip. you can shoot people, throw grenades at them, impale them with pointed sticks. nothin'. thier shirt stays in perfect working order.

Why is it that Ryu can shrug off a bazooka shot to the groin with little to no ill effects, but it routinely killed by oversized birds?

On a related note, why is it that every game in existance has a character named "Ryu"?
