Feeling the distinctly unfriendly gaze of the people around, Sarah averted her eyes. Bowing her head for a moment, she told a half-lie.
"You'd probably be pretty ticked too if somebody close to you got scratched out."
Aryn was never technically alive in the first place, but that detail wasn't important at the moment.
"Anyway, why are you here? I never pictured you holding secret councils in an evil lair..."
This, of course, was a complete lie.
While her desperation and psychosis still dominated much of her mind, other things started to get through at this point, most notably including the extremely rank odor currently enveloping the room.
"...and can someone please get rid of those fish? Jeez!"

S.A.N.E. made sure that Steven L. was securly bound. He then teleported the fish away and came back. He rummage through Steven L.'s suitcase, and came up with a map. The map was of the entire world, but there were odd markings on it. Steven L.'s map had labels on it such as: "I R TEH SAIX!!!1111!!!1" and "LOLZORZ j00 r t3|-| 5u}{}{0rZ!!1!1!"

After a few minutes of contemplating this, S.A.N.E. showed his finding to the group. "He maps spam, eh?" He showed everyone the map. Thinking it may be a clue to where the hideout was located, S.A.N.E. left the map there before teleporting Steven L. back to Oserbaum's secret (evil) library. He dropped him off, the same way he had picked him up, except now, Steven L. was tied up and gagged. S.A.N.E. teleported back to the group.

Osterbaum looked back..."ARGH!" Just to be scared by the re'appearing Steven L. "Don't scare me like that." Osterbaum could now see that he was tied and gagged."Wait...What is this! I told you that you don't play with your friends or try to make any of your fantasies true when you're at work! You will stay that way until I say so!"

Steven L. wanted to reply, he really did. He wanted to tell Osterbaum that he didn't plan this and that he had really been kidnapped by some kind of insane secret agent, teleported to a place where Thaumaturge was conspiring with the good guys, and that this time, he didn't ask to be tied up and gagged. When he tried to say all this, all that came out was, "PRMPHFHFHHH!" He hoped Osterbaum would get the point anyway.

"PRMPHFHFHHH!"

"WHAT?!? You were kidnapped by some kind of insane secret agent, teleported to a place where Thaumaturge was cospiring with the good guys, and that this time, you didn't ask to be tied up and gagged!" Osterbaum quiqkly untied and ungagged Steven L. "Now tell all that you heard and we will make a plan."

ooc: I got tired with the red text thingy. And this school computer is telling me some stupid thing and making it more dificult for me to paint the text, so forgett it.

Steven L. dropped his head. "You see, the thing is, Commander Osterbaum, that I didn't actually hear much of anything. I believe the secret agent hit me in the head, and all I heard was 'Knob red... no wonder! BONK!' and then he hit me again!" Checking his briefcase, Steven L. went pale as a sheet. "Commander Osterbaum... they stole... the... uh.... Spam Map.

Jackal appeared from thin air (his stealth camouflage making him invisible) behind Sarah, kis katana drawn. Intruder. His brain told him, his gaze fixed on the woman behind him. Must destroy intruder.

It was a perfect ambush. Sarah was just standing there waiting for the guards to crash through that door, so she could slaughter the chosen one and blame it on the enemy. A cyber-enhanced ninja was the furthest thing from her mind as Jackal's blade was drawn.

Oddly enough, Astrabelle made no warning. The trapped soul was also making plans of its own, and the danger represented by a ninja seemed rather minor at this point.
Lady Gaima...

"Well, I went to stop the bad guys from stealing souls and putting them in these little crystals, and some other heroes were trying to stop the bad guys, too, but there were some suit-guys trying to stop me from, I don't know, doing magic or something, and then there were two big badguys, not big big, just powerful big, and they were fighting each other, the taxi went fast, like ZOOM, and there was a science guy who is a sex lady now, and NAZI BOOTS BROKE THE TEA SET! The cow got hurt, but got better, and I talked to the pretty ninja who is like an undead robot or something, and then Mr. Thaumaturge said Evil is Maybe Bad and I said Yes! It is!, and since Dr. Awkward is going to teleport us to Osterbaum's lair, we can be the crazy kids who solve the mystery and pull the mask off the souls and SAVE THE DAY! Isn't that exciting? What have you been up to?"
Apparently one of Courtney's heroic powers was to exist with a less than constant oxygen intake.

Thaumaturge watched in concern. Could she not see the danger? He glanced over at Jackal, and gave an almost imperceptible signal that Jackal should kill the newcomer. Unfortunately, Jackal did not perceive it. Thaumaturge tried again, but again Jackal missed the tiny motion. Thaumaturge had had enough. "KILL HER YOU FOOL!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, gesticulating wildly.
