Pikmin 2
 

AH!!!!!!!! The white pikmin scare me with there big red eyes, but I think its the best game ever (till halo 2 comes out of course). Well I just wanted to see if any one else has it and is ahead of me so they can help me :D .

And I'm not thinking of getting Pikmin 2. It's the same as the first only with 2 different colored Pikmin. When they die they scare me.

I saw the commercial today... i fealt like shooting all those midgits... they scared me...

So, does anyone know the storyline to this one? I think the last one was that the main guy needed to find parts of his spaceship......

Basically, Capitan Olimar gets his ship back together (in Pikmin 1) and when he gets home, he discovers that the shipping company he works for is in massive debt. However, one of the 'souvenirs' that he brings back for his family from the strange Pikmin world is appraised at a lot of money, so he and his co-worker both go back to the Pikmin planet to find more of these alien artifacts and bring them back to save the company from bankruptcy.

So far it's okay, there's not the sense of urgency that the original Pikmin had, since you have unlimited time to collect the items necessary to pay off the debt. It's a lot more about combat with the native wildlife, and using your Pikmin's different abilities (the new colors, especially) to find as much treasure as you can.

I never liked the time bomb effect of the original. It rushed you too much, limited you, controlled you. It hurt the game play.

But the second is more different from the original then you think. First off, the original pikmin have been messed with some. Second, there is multiplayer. Third, no time bomb. Fourth, multiplayer.

this game is fun, i really like the no time limit thing because it gides me time to stalk up on a few thosand pikmin :D and i love the lil wight ones with the beedy red eyes, there posionous so there basicly a kamakazi but cute and the yellow ones are no longer pyros with there lil bombs but they can still jump really high. and in the mutlyplayer mode it is pure madness! me and a frend tryed it and i found some weird cherrys that spawend enimys at his base and i owned him!
