Just asking as I'm new to calvinball but how do you decide who writes the ending?

Traditionally, everyone writes an ending, and the best one is used. Every now and then people don't realize how close to the closing point we are, and as such, only one ending gets submitted.

Well, I submitted my ending.

Anyone mind if I start the next one? I have a good idea, and although it starts with me having the ball, I"ll give it up as a side effect of the first person attacking me.

I'm still trying to figure that out. Last time, Mad Jack tried to call it, but Thaumaturge already had via PM. I'm afraid that I am out of the "who called it" loop.

I've got no qualms about who starts the next regular God-Mod one, it matters little. The chaos that ensues afterwards is the essence of that which is known as forum calvinball.
