Um... no. The Calvinball is its own entity, not PC. totaly NPC here guys.

So... when is the next Calvinball match? Ever? Next monday. Convenantly located on a friday afternoon?

Edi: I agree with SAAM the Calvinball should be NPC.

I honestly have never laid a foot inside RP section on this forum ^_^;

I wonder if I should join? Fokes, would you allow me to join? Any suggestions for who or what i should be?

Nosferatu 09-16-2004 11:24 PM

Ditto for me!

QueenQeeko 09-17-2004 03:09 AM

Uhh I'd suggest play as yourself. I got like, two posts in the last game and I think I know how the game works anyway, as it's all pretty straight forward.

PhoenixFlame 09-17-2004 06:05 AM

Should we instate a limit on the posts a character can have per day? Kind of annoying to try and do something, and come back later to see the thread 5 pages farther down the line because 2 people were on at the same time.

Thaumaturge 09-17-2004 06:14 AM

On the other hand, there are times that it's nice to have a short, fast-moving battle, such as the little non-magical duel between Druid of the Dead and I.

I can see where you're coming from, though. I am offline when most other posters are on, so I do miss a lot. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the beast. Someone will always be away while things are happening here, given the geographic spread of the members.

slightly aboveaverage man 09-17-2004 07:27 AM

I agree with Thaum. In the previous Calvinballs some of the best endings were when it came to a contest between two people, such as Bob and I when we flew on our magical pants to the planet Slacks, fought with hordes of donkeys and elephants which then turned into a Republican/democrat debate, and eventually came down to a dance off... and ending with us forming a band and becoming world tag-team champions.

Or the match between Jadarendir and I, when we re-enacted the Darth Vader Death Scene from Return of the Jedi... etc etc.

Dante, that is the beauty of Calvinball: Everyone is allowed to join, provided they don't spam, godmod, or diss the game in ways that BMHadoken did.

Dante 09-17-2004 07:30 AM

IMO, BMH should have just shut his yap if he didn't like it. I will confess, I was overcome by the sheer spamminess of it all for a while...
