question about titles
 

some time ago the titles where something like
new member
senor member

now I see a lot of
level 1

what is after level one (level 2 duh.. but besides that)?
why did it change?
did it change or am I crasy?
when did it change?

I thought the level 1 stuff was specialized custom titles? Who has a level 1 title?

There are a couple of people with them, can't name anyone specifically at the moment. It seemed clever at first but then it started to repeat.....

Junior member is based on post count/join date (can't remember which.) Senior member same deal. Everything else is completely customary, don't read too much into it.

I've seen this too. I wonder if the level 1 titles are accidental or on purpose?

I just saw people with 1 post and a title level 1, so I wondered if that was peirre's doing

It's just different level of pre-set titles, based on a person's post count. If you have no specifically defined user title (such as my WOOOOOO) then you will revert to the forum default, which was changed from boring old Junior Member and Senior Member to dashing new sparkly levels.

Heh, I thought I'd look at mine, to see what I got, and liked it enough to incorperate it into my Custom title

can a mod or an admin post all the titles and how much post you need for them because I just checked my default and its swordsman not a level so I'm confused :(

I won't post the numbers needed because I want to maintain a little bit of secrecy, just for fun. :)

Level 1: 0-30
Novice:30-100
Swordman:100-300
Fighter:300-500
Warrior:500-700
Champion:700-1100
Warlord:1100-1400
Demi-god:1400-2000
Deity:2000-Etc.

I'm warlord too. And your warlord is off, because HOP has more than 1300 and he's a warlord.

If all people with titles could post here it would be a great help to make this accurate
or course only if you have a title that hasnt been verified so bacicly everything but if all goes according to plan that will be changing.

Diety has to be more than 1800. I'm still Demi-God.

Swordman can't be 200-300, because that's what my default is.

I have to say this was a good idea. because there are more positions and because of this thread many people have moved back to normal


I think 2000+ or 2500+ is deity

Swordman is probably 101 posts, cause I'm a swordman at 139

I'm a champion at 769, you're at least 200 off there.

I highly doubt that this helps, because you all probably already knew I'd get this... but, I'm deity if I go for default.

...Hmmm, maybe I'll make my normal title "Killographic Deity" now. Nah.

Ah, how we love the vicious world of post counts. If I had my way, we'd do away with them ASAP. But alas...

ANYWAY. Custom titles with levels were a blast from the EZboard forums. I remember first being allowed my own preset there and I was a very happy girl thenforth. Here, it's so much easier on you, allowing you to create your own level if you so desire.

One random thing to bring up - do any of the old schoolers remember the times we'd all change our user names/custom avatars to suit a certain topic? I remember being RaiBean and NinjaRai. Ah, those were the times...

Warlord is off by at least 20 because that is my default title. It's probably off by 100 or failing that 50.

I'd say get rid of them too, they don't serve much purpose really. Though what would the user titles be based off of?

I think it'd just be everyone make their own. Or something like that.

Hay, I'm an idiotic newbe. How do I change my title from the default?

Go to the button that says "user CP" then go to "profile" on the sidebar. Look through the lists and there should be somewhere that says your current title. You should be able to figure it out from there.
