Games to avoid

So after an hour long battle with Priston Tale, i've finaly got my computer working again and i thought i'd pass along a warning to others: Avoid this game like the plauge. Maybe its my computer, maybe its my connection, but this game just raped mine and my roommate's computer. oh, and the fact that the damn game didn't work anyway.

anyone else have any stern warnings about games?

The first Mario Party. If you're like me and cannot rotate the control stick with your thumb and index finger that fast, do not get this game. The only way you will beat it is with your palm and that causes blisters. That and it's a bit too hard.

There was a game by Cryo called something along the lines of "Arthur's knights: the origins of excalibur", or something similar - it focussed on one of the knights (whose name escapes me), and you could play either the Christian path or the Pagan path for him. It was terrible. There were large mysterious boulders that prevented you from going to certain places, which then mysteriously disappeared when you were supposed to go that way. My copy of the game crashed at a certain point without fail (although that might be related to its legality...). Overall the production values were through the floor.

Amen to that! I remember having mini-game island marathons, where I'd have a bucket of ice to stick my blistering hand in to ease the pain...

On-topic: avoid Ninja Gaiden's Hurricane Pack if you don't like seeing the 'Game Over' screen. I've had to continue about 15 times on the first level alone, and I think I've nearly doubled that know that I'm at the fifth chapter...

Fallout: Brotherhood of steel (the console game)

good lord did anyone else think it was impossible to fuck up a fallout game?

Sonic Adventure for the GameCube. I think that's what it was called anyway.

and Star Wars: Rebellion

Bubble Bobble 2. It's so damn bright and so senseless it's not even worth the time to try to find it... >_<

And I liked the first BB for innovation.
