Free online RPG's anyone?
 

Me and a friend are tired of the online RPG we've been playing (Adventure Quest) because they simply spew diarrhea on everyone but the paying members. I'm in need of a good free online RPG. I don't have any big preferences, just absolutely not text based. Anyone got something?

Preferably free ones, too.

Little download heavy, isn't it? I don't have much room on my computer and when I see file sizes something like 688mb it raises red flags. Plus, I don't want to attempt at installing something written in korean.

I know I said my only preference was non-text based, but Lord. That's pushing it a bit. Sorry.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't have much space. www.conqueronline.com is very good (I'm on the pheonix server), but it is over 600 megabytes. The community is huge though.

Isn't there something called KoL these days? I dunno if that's free or what but..anyways. I also dunno if there are graphics. :B

There are also several free online RPGs advertised at these very forums. Among them is Achaea (sp?), an excellent MUD RPG.

However, we're not looking for anything text-based.

It's kind of rough looking for a free online RPG that is not text-based but still doesn't take up much computer space. Graphics tend to take up a lot of room, see.
