Well let's be honest here, the vast majority of us pale in comparison to Forever Zero, 'cept for the almighty IHATEMAKINGNAMES.

Forever Zero 09-21-2004 05:57 PM

Yeah, but that's only because in RPs, you need to post a lot to keep the story going. You don't just post once and walk away, you check back on the thread all the time and post whenever you think it'll advance your cahracter and/or the plot. Thus, Lots O' Posts. I haven't RPed in a while though, so my Post Count has leveled out. Other forums I check are General, Off-Topic, and rarely Video Games, Comics, and Animation.

Now IHMN... I have no clue how the hell he has so many posts. That is still a mystery that boggles my mind.

IHMN just posts everywhere to see himself type. Thread Whoreing is what it's called.

Elminster_Amaur 09-21-2004 06:06 PM

I know the reason IHMN has as many posts as he does. The BattleRoyal Threads, are filled with his posts(at least one a page), and I'm sure that almost every thread in this forum has at least one post from IHMN, with the exception of a few sections that seem more stagnant, such as the arts-n-crafts, 8-bit related, and such.

Edit: Beaten to the punch yet again.

That's called trolling right there, I'd watch it. He's proliferant in the roleplaying forum, which is where he accumulates most of his posts.

I tend to ignore post count most of the time. Unless there's some kind of rule-breaking, then I try to see if they are new or just stupid.

SuzuranLily 09-21-2004 08:52 PM

I have not been here for very long, but i nottice the difference. This is the best run forum I have seen to date. Keep it up.

same thing here

Yess. I ignore post counts, even when helping people. They need help, they need help. Whether its just b/c they're new, or are mentally unstable. They need help all the same.

I frequent all forums except RP, Discussion, and 8-bit theatre. Well, mostly. I've been dropping off on the Video Games and General for some reason. Must be b/c I love Off Topic so much. :p

What's a post count? :P

This is probably one of the most well-behaved web communites I've ever seen. Due mostly to the mods, who run a tight ship, that consequently doesn't sink.
