Hmmmmm... Well, I always loved DDR, but I can't buy the game because I have a friggin Gamecube, not a PS2.

PC + $15 PlayStation to USB converter + $30 playstation dance pad + StepMania (free) + song files (free) = $45 DDR better than any console or arcade can provide.

Well since everyone else seems to love it, I'm going to have to say that I think DDR is evil and a plague on this earth and that you all scare me.

You are not the only one who hates it. I have a friend that I hurl more assassination attempts a day at then you vs. the ant crawling on your keyboard. He hates DDR. Why you may ask? "Dancing games are stupid," "There's no point to it." Saying a type of game is stupid just because you inherently suck at it is like bashing another console for no other sake than it's a competitor of your own beloved system. As for their being no point to DDR, there is no point to any other game. It's all just entertainment. DDR is just entertainment that gets our lazy gamer selves off the couch and on to the dance pad.

DDR just can't be a plague. It has no locusts.

I don't hate it because I suck at it (Though I do) or because it's a dancing game...it's just the type of people that play it (Not neccesarily you guys) and it's sheer popularity incite an instinctual reaction against it.

DDR, as with any other popular game is bound to have a given amount of idiots playing. And do they show! That's why I like to play in the comfort of someone's dorm room w/ friends more than the arcade (it's free too).

My dance pad - Dance Pad Revolution 2 - got a small rip in the green outside so now its' acting up like a troubled child on crack. The up button keeps sticking. I'm going to stick the corners to a slab of wood and make it stiff as a board.

Get it? Board? I have a book coming out.
