Soul Caliber II
 

In your opinion, which is better: SCII for Gamecube, Xbox, or PS2? Also which mode of Nightmare do you think is the best and which character do you use? :fighter:

The Game Cube version by far, it is much better.
I use Talim. she is so fast you can beat the crap out of people and get out of the way real easy.
You didnt ask this but my favorit wepon of hers is half cresint moon, they are the strongest (exclluding the final two super swords soul edge and the most powerful one), but i dont think i have ever unlocked her joke wepon

I'll say X-box because Spawn ruled. However I have the PS2 version. By mode of Nightmare do you mean his look? If so the full armored version.

I use Voldo and Sueng Mina. Voldo is just unorthodox and I love his style. With Sueng Mina I can whip the crap out of most people.

I prefer Soul Calibur 2 for Gamecube, I noticed that they made Link Pwn in it. His moves are fast, long range, easy to do, and powerful. He is the only guy I hate to fight.

My favorite version of Nightmare is the Sigfried version, equiped with Soul Calibur or Glam.

My best character is Nightmare, though I Pwn massive amounts with Raphiel. Kilik is easy to use and efficient, though Sung Mina with her legendary weapon can pwn with just one move.

The wierdest/funniest thing I have seen in SC2 so far was in a battle with Cassandra. She started Pwning me sideways! She knocks me off the edge, but she doesn't ring me out! Instead, she juggles me and juggles me, moving forward a little bit each time, until she herself falls off the edge before me! I stared at my unexpected win for two minutes before what happened sinked in!

I've played both X-box and GC versions of it and I like the GC version better. My fav, Characters are Link, Nightmare, and Yoshimitsu. And my favorite Nightmare is the Full Armor one.

GC, because Spawn has his own game made for him and the PS2 guy is in Tekken. But it was the first time you've even seen Link in a 3D fighting game. And you got to use the downstab for the first time since Zelda 2 (except Smash Bros).

And, although he doesn't fit perfectly...he fits alot better than the other two characters, one of which is suppose to be immortal and the other who doesn't even have a weapon...

I'm not being mean or anything but...what makes you think that Heihachi doesn't fit in the PS2 version?

I prefer the game cube version. Link totally owned in that game. My best chrachter is Yunsung because of his powerfull combos, and my favourite version of Nightmare is that armor he wears without a helmet.

What kind of person says pwn. Besides you know who :rmage: "what?"

GC is best in my opinion. Graphic wise its hard to notice any difference between GC and Xbox. Also the controls are the best and with only one exception did I ever experience a slow down. Now which character is better I cant say since the controls are different and I haven't played all three.

I like Taki, she is fast agile, can do limitless combos, has great grapples, and is fun to watch if you know what I mean.

I am also good with Xiaghan (sp) and Raphel all with Soul Calibur. But I made it so I am decent with almost anyone.

Heihachi is an old man from a modern world, Soul Caliber 2 takes place in a medieval world, and the main focus of the fighting are the characters' weapons.

That's why he doesn't fit in.


I prefer the GC version, because I like using Link.
