Aches and Pains
 

Hey guys
I was sitting here, with my semi dislocated knee, shattered thumb, massive tooth ache from a wisdom tooth comming in, and a large dose of your common cold and I thought hey, my NP forum friends know EVERYTHING. So, I thought we should start a general ache remedy thread. With winter comming and all I think it'd be cool to see all the ways you guys fight off the cold and such

I find for my toothache ora-gel and tylenol 2 with codene are doing the trick, and neocitrin helps with the cold a bit. what do you use?

Well, I'm more fortunate to not have that many pains. Usually I just get all achy in my legs when I sit in a weird postion for a long time. When that happens I use a lot of IcyHot to soothe the pain.

Ora-Gel? Look simple solution using that. Just put it on what ever hurts.

It doesn't just numb your teeth.

From personal eperience I know this... We put it all over my friends face and he couldn't do anything but talk like a retard basicaly with a permasmile.

I had slight cold. I ran around and it went away. Yip!

I have bad knees, ankles, and well my legs in general suck. If I find my self standing for more than an hour it feels like I was struck mercilessly with a tee-ball bat. Unfortnately, due to problems relating to my body's ability to filter and absorb stuff, I can't take most medicines.

So what do I do? I sit down and cry.

Two words: Ny...quil.

BWAHAHAHA Ora Jel= uber funny Seriously tho, when im aching, ill either sleep or just ignore it.

I don't think sleeping helps. Does anyone here know how to cure a stubbed toe that's been hurting for a week now?

Have you tried using ice? Or maybe you should take aspirin. Those are my suggestions.

Toe's been giving you trouble, eh? I say crush your hand with a hammer. You'll forget all about your toe in no time!
