Just read it. I have my own comments, especially how they could REALLY screw this up VERY easily, but also how it could be fabulous. And I think this would be an excellent timefor Lucas to hire a Japanese Anime team who specialize in taking concepts and turning them into amazing long TV series...but I highly doubt he would.

And beware, thepeople in the article they quote have very dumb views and have little to no understanding of what they are talking about.

OMG, I see what you mean about the quotes. The people are obviously stupid.

But the show sounds interesting. I would like to see it as an anime too, but it sounds like its going to be live actors. Which is bad in my opinion. You won't be able to find people that look close enough to the original actors.

There's just something I don't like about Lucas handing over complete and utter control to someone else.

It could be worse. He could be keeping control and probably making it all about gungans and naked twi'leks played by Natalie Portman.

Also, I'm a bit torn here. The article says they're handing it over to Kevin Smith. Now... Kevin Smith is nigh-godlike in his writing and directing skills, however, I keep getting this horrible horrible image of Jay and Silent Bob as jedi or sith lords or something...

Well, most Star Wars fanatics like books more then movies, and Lucas has no control on books.

Actually, I think that was just speculation. theforce.net Dosen't say anything about that. Just says hes thinking about turning it over to tv, and that's it. I would link directly to the article, but I lost it. So search you lazy bums!!

Humm, I'm not sure what too think. But if the series sucks I simply wont watch it. No biggie.
