OOC: Ok, I leave for ONE day and you guys leave me behind by attacking Sereg. Tsk Tsk.
Anyhoo, IHMN, let's just say that Myrra and Sereg are... "acquaintances" of the past? If not, I edit. BIC: "Well, I'm a little too late to knock some sense into you guys," A casual, sarcastic voice next to Za'rel made her turn to see the woman in blood red. Myrra's golden eyes flashed dangerously as she viewed the two mages ready to duel. She had felt the several blood runes cast, and immediately made the connection the moment she saw his pretty face. "Sereg," Myrra shook her head, reproval written all over her face, "must you always meddle in my little misadventures in order for me to notice you? You have such a silly method of interrupting our fun at the worst moments. But I'll leave it to Aeryn to get rid of you once and for all," she smiled sweetly. Dangerously. OOC: Basically, Myrra's rune-casting is about the same as Sereg's, except she doesn't use blood, and she draws the rune in midair. |
OOC: Ah, you've all left forgotten one significant factor. The dragon factor. And an angry one at that.
At that instant Mercury bursts through the trees. He tears through the underbrush almost as if it isn't there, vines and branches momentarily catching on him before being ripped away. The dragon pays no heed at all to the illusionary duplicates, smell, hearing and other senses piercing the deception. Moving along at an alarming speed he pounces at Sereg, razor sharp claws outstretched and toothy jaws agape. His momentum carries him through the air, a deadly, magic resistant, silver-blue scaled engine of destruction threatening to maim, rend or horribly crush Sereg. OOC: I wouldn't be so unfair to say that none of your illusions would work on Mercury Sereg, just the more quick, simple ones would be less effective. And he's not at his most subtle at present. |
OOC: you have forgotten another factor the thief factor :thief:
Will seeing that everbody was distracted tried to emptied Seregs's pockets of healing potions (so it would be a fair dual)while everybody was talking then run away unluckily Sereg's pockets are empty and he might notice if Will took his cloths so Will sprinted back towrd Aeryn and Za'rel taking care not to be noticed. And he also noticed Mercury running toward Sereg as well. |
OOC: ... SS, there are just so many things wrong with that. For one, Sereg has no healing potions. Two, Sereg wasn't talking, he's just standing there. He would notice. Three, if Will even reached Sereg yet, he would be there at about the same time as the dragon. So he would be trying to steal nothing out of the pockets of a guy who is about to be tackled by a dragon.
IC: The coming of the dragon was very obvious, and Sereg was expecting it to crash through the trees when it did. Taking a leap back, he elf landed against a tree, where he grabbed a branch and flipped himself up. The dragon, still on it's path of doom, slammed into the tree, causing it to collapse. Sereg gracefully leapt from the tree, landing a few feet behind Aeryn. "What a disgusting creature... So reckless and violent." Sereg thought outloud. As he did that, he make several small cuts on his legs and left arm. Underneath his clothes, the blood swirled around, forming seals along his legs and arm. The wounds he made healed themselves after that. OOC: Just remembered he has clothing... |
OOC:It has been edited IHMN

((I'm suprised people dont even the least bit jump at high pitched sounds they've never experienced before.))
Za'rel leaned back agaisnt the tree, arms crossed, looking angrily at the two duelists. She almost attempted to stop Mercury, however, she could not hurt him, even if he was out of his mind. Deciding the outcome was inconsequential, Za'rel left to go retrieve her armor, taking it off had proved a bad mistake. Her padded underclothes were not so suitable for fighting in. |
OOC: good point...
IC: Aeryn rolled his eyes, spinning around, his staff whirling in a deadly arc toward the elf...the head of the weapon glowing with spell-energy. "You're one to talk...though it's excusable when you're an imbecile." he heard Mercury get up, and yelled over his shoulder, "BAD dragon! SIT Mercury!" he shook his head, even as darts of flame shot from his fingers at the elf, "And the same to you, thief! He shot at me, I challenged him, and this is MY fight!" |
Sereg caught the flames in his left hand. Harmlessly, they extinguished in his hands, along with the seal he had made earlier. While Aeryn yelled at the thief, Sereg cut his thumbs, letting the blood form new seals on both of hishands.
"Shall we finish this? I have things to do." Sereg calmly said as he played with the dagger in his hands. All I need is one hit, this shouldn't be hard. |
Aeryn grinned suddenly, Delayed Blast Fireball...sucker. If he'd drawn the magical energy into himself, the way he tried to, he would be dead now. he snapped his fingers, teleporting across the clearing, just as an immense explosion of flames blossomed from between Sereg's hands.
It exploded with a dull roar, leaves and twigs lighting like matches...not to mention what the explosion did to the elf. |
And the explosions of Mercury, Myrra, and Will.
Za'rel, on her way back to camp to retieve her armor, felt, and then heard, the blast from the massive fireball. She rolled to one knee, and drew both swords, looking for the source of the detonation. Sighing once she found it, she got up, laughed, and sheathed her swords again, gently picking her armor up, and donning it, subsequently walking back, toward the explosion, in a sadistic interest. |
