Favourite Chrono Cross Party?
 

Hee! Here's a thread that's almost guaranteed to get no, or very few, replies. ^_^ Still, I loved Chrono Cross because of the huge variety of characters, and I'm interested to see if anyone else had a particular party that they were very tempted to use throughout the game, or if most of you tried to use everyone equally.

Me? I shamelessly used a party of either Serge, Leena and Glenn; or Serge, Guile, and Steena, throughout the entire game. Once or twice, I'd use Serge, Fargo, and Luccia; or Serge, Kid, and Van.

I guess I just really like keeping my favourite pairings together. (Leena/Glenn, Guile/Steena, Fargo/Luccia, Serge/Kid)

Still, I really had to force myself to use anyone other than Serge, Leena, and Glenn. I just absolutely love Leena and Glenn (particularly in the delusional little romance I've created between them), and I don't know why. ^_^()

Anyway, who was everyone else's favourite parties in Chrono Cross, and why?

I'm currently playing Chrono Cross again and now that i know how to get Leena, I'm using her. She's just about the most fun person I've gotten to use. However I'm now at the Lynx part and can't use her...nor Pip, my other favorite person to use.

I'll probably play the game over again with the game+ and be able to use Glenn, Leena and Pip, WHAHAHAHA! Surge is fine and all, but those are my faovirte three characters.

Serge, Kid and Norris. all day. every day.

Serge, Glenn, and Grobyc. I just love the X-Strike Double Tech for some reason. Sometimes, for the sake of mixing it up, I'll throw in Norris or Kid in place of Grobyc usually, unless I'm playing a New Game + and have Harle.

I also kinda like a Serge, Leena, Razzly grouping for the Delta Attack Triple Tech.

Well, I didn't really like CC because they tossed in 10 billion characters, and made it so that the only thing that changed was how annoying their accents were... but even so, I still played through it a bunch of times. I'm really not sure why. I guess cause I like beating on things in new game +.

Anyhoo... favorite groups.

Serge, Kid, Razzly.
Lynx, Harle, Razzly.
And, in New Game+ Serge, Harle, Kid or Serge, Harle, Razzly. Depending.

I prefer Lynx, Harle, Razzly, but you can't really use Harle in most of the game... and the thing that pissed me off most about the game is that I couldn't save her from being stuck as part of that dragon thing you kill. She was the only character I liked at all. Bleh. Part of the reason I played through so many times is that I felt there should be a way, and it wasn't until about my 5th play through that I looked at a guide and found out I couldn't. Bahstids.

Anywho... If you can't tell just by looking I like speed. I worship speed. If Alexander of Reign the Conqueror didn't look like an anorexic steroid user I'd compare myself to him in my love of speed. Razzly, Kid, and Harle are all real quick. Razzly and Harle also have lots and lots of magical power (and kid ain't half bad either), so I can hit hard and fast. Fights went rather quick with that group.

Also... I absolutely hated the pirate character. I'd have killed him off if I could. Oh, and Nikki. Bleh. Didn't like him either... the dancer chick was cool though.

You'll have to excuse me for not remembering all their names, but my ps2 isn't working, I don't have a ps1 anymore, there are umpteen billion characters, and the instructions, obviously, don't list them all.

I used to have CC, but then I lost it before i could beatr it :( ! anyways, there are too many characters to choose from, and i didnt even beat it! I really liked the guy who was made of straw and had a giant nail through his body (i cant believe i forgot his name! someone plz telll me!), Serge, and anyone else as my lineup!

My main party consisted of serge, kidd, and glenn, or serge, kid, and orlha. I used fargo quite a bit for stealing, but I only used other party members when I had to.

Serge, Glenn...did anyone else really matter? (duel weilding those UltraSwords Mmmm)

The guy with the nail in him is called Vodoo (cuz he's a vodoo doll -_-).

In the English version, they changed it to "Mojo."

I never really had a favorite party, I tried to use all the characters but, I guess I'd go with Serge, Norris, and the old lady who could turn into enemies
