Movies??

I went to see a really bad movie the other day and when i sat down i realized their was only two other people in their. Is it just me or are there a lot of people that seem to have this problem? I feel really wierd when i'm in their all by myself. By the way, the movie was really bad so it didn't really matter.

What movie did you see?

The Mirror Emperor 10-03-2004 10:47 PM

That happens alot whenever I go to a movie theater. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad movie, it could mean it's not a popular theater. Is your theater often gone to?

BlackMageGirl! 10-03-2004 10:59 PM

Or it could mean that the movie has been playing for awhile and almost everyone has seen it. To quote popularnerd "which movie did you go see?"

I dunno, I kinda like it when the theater's almost empty except for me and my friends. Especially if it's a bad movie. Then, when you yell sarcastic remarks and generally make an ass of yourself, the few people in there with you join in from across the theater.

I try to do it that way. I wait until the last showing of a popular movie so that I can sit down and enjoy it without any distrations.

I don't really care if there's almost no one but me. I actually enjoy it more that way. But that has only happened to me when I was in Spain. Here there are propably just so few theaters that they are always full, no matter what movie.

What movie did you go see?

That'll teach you to watch the latest resident evil movie by yourself. Next time remember to bring your friends so you can at least make fun of the movie.

I always go with someone else; it's just tradition for me.

As for empty theaters, that just gives me a chance to be Ironic. I'll sit down in an empty theater, and the first thing I yell is "down in front!"

Then me and my friends pop straws until the movie starts.

One movie I went to had nearly nobody there, but it was one of the funniest I had seen: "Red Green's Duct Tape Forever." Ye gods...

So yes, I enjoy empty movie theaters.

Empty theaters are only fun when you got a friend or two with you, toherwise you'll get bored making fun of stuff all by yourself.

Another tip for younger members: eating popcorn at a movie theater a few days after getting your wisdom teeth out generally makes the movie less enjoyable. That's how it was for me when I saw Sky Captain last week, at least...
