That song in my head... in my heart...

All day today I have been singing the original TMNT theme song. Not humming, singing and very loudly at that. Well a professor of English asked me why I was singing that horrible song. My reply? "Why my dear lady its stuck in my head... but it also resides in my heart. Now I feel like dancing. Do you want to dance?" Do you know what I did next?

I danced.

Welcome to my state of mind.

I know what you mean....whenever I hear a DDR song I just start dancing! I once was dancing on the side of the road when I took my walk. Just imagine how many people honked at me....

Gee, whenever I try to sing a song that's stuck in my head everyone thinks some animal is being abused.

You're all crazy. Songs don't get stuck in my head. Symphonies do. And I don't dance. I conduct.

When a song gets stuck in my head, I generally get it out as soon as I can. With a hand-drill, no less.

You'd love my job then. I spend all day at a cash register standing next to a DDR machine.

My singing voice is horrible but my fiancee loves it when I sing to her.

Perhaps she's masacistic......

When a song gets stuck in my head, it just stays there until:
a) I hear another song as "sticking" as the previous.
b) I drive everybody around me nuts.
c) A combination of both.

And yes, I have been caught dancing to a song in my head... the humiliation!

EDIT: Not to be nitpicky and not that I'm all that good at English, but I believe the word you mean is masochistic (Or something in that direction). You're welcome!

Yes, I believe that is the word I was trying to spell. Aye, its a sad day when my spelling is being corrected.

Perhaps I should turn my wrath on you by editing my post to spell it correctly thus making you look foolish HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!

But I'm too lazy, so thanks, now I know how to spell it.

Anyone have a particular song that gets stuck in their head all the time? For some reason I commonly get Matt Hardy's entrance music stuck in my head all the time, and I hate Matt Hardy!

I usually get the song stuck in my head stuck in someone else's head. Then it's not in mine anymore.

Weird how that works.

EVILNess 10-06-2004 04:16 AM

Yeah! I've witnessed that phenomena! Much pain has been has been caused by "John Jacob Jingle Heimer Smith" because of that.

Man, I hate that song.

EDIT: AGH! I started thinking about it and it popped in my head! I can't get it out! FOR THE LOVE OF TEH ZOMBIE JESUS SOMEONE SHOOT ME!
