Okay, get the insults out of the way and then lets get down to buisness such as
1) voting for era (clone wars or galactic civil war)
2)pickin sides and makin charectors

my opening vote is for clone wars (its a lot like star wars battlefront)

I vote for the Sith wars (about 2000 BBY I believe). It would be far more interesting and give people alout more jedi/sith options.

well in both the clone wars and civil war there weren't many Sith. In fact only two and a small handfull of dark jedi the average fan wont even know about, same for jedi in the civil war.

But in the Sith wars both numbered in the thousands. Also the two sides were evenly matched with neigther having dominating political control. Really it is an ideological war. I think it would be more interesting especially since it is just Sith vs Jedi and not Federation (might be mistaken) vs Republic or Empire vs Rebels.

Do you have to set it in a preexisiting era? Why not set it after Episode 6 and go crazy story wise, Lucas doesn't care.

Why, because he played KoTOR? I could make a post-E6 stoyline off the top of my head, and I haven't even read the books.

Just have the Sith make an underground comeback, a super alien race threaten to kill everyone...uhm, maybe the droids get sentiency and start wrecking shit, and we're Jedi or whatever trying to clean up the big mess for the Republic or something.

I know there's post E6 books, I was just demonstrating how easy it is to make a new storyline set in the SW universe.

Also, I said Jedi or whatever.

Not really interested in RPing, but I was browsing and stumbled on this, so I thought I'd pass on some info. Sith era is probably the best for RPing, there hasn't been enough technological advance since then to really make a difference, and people can go wild with the evil and epic battles. As for My Lead Airbag's suggestion, all of them have actually happened several times over in the expanded universe. If you want inspiration try taking a look at the fanfics on TheForce.net. There's some pretty good alternate universes and whatnot that would make excellent RP fodder.
